I found a 250 sq ft commercial space on Craigslist without credit checks or income requirements. I furnished it with a microwave, small fridge, computer, TV, and pull-out couch. The rent was $600 monthly, and I also had a gym membership. The landlord just wanted the rent. I used my VA benefits to buy a small condo a few years back. Rent is still crazy in MA. I am NOT giving anyone $2000 plus unless I own it. I always wanted to start a business when I was in the military.

@@Glenda-w6y I did 2 years in a converted van from 2020-2022 but I sold it once I had to move to Miami as I found the area not really van friendly. I’m currently exploring alternative short term living options like car camping as well. But what do you mean about that allowing me to expand my job opportunities?

@ sure. I’m mean having the opportunity to be free to move around the country while you job search.

@ ohh yes! That’s why I’m not getting into a lease and either renting rooms or car camping. I think it’s the best bet for now especially with the outrageous prices for rent in south Florida and around the country.

You are so very welcome!!😊😊 And I am glad she is well! I am getting a standard poodle in February. Mama is 5 weeks pregnant right now. I am having trouble deciding between a male or female. Is there anything about having a female standard that sticks out to you? Thank you so much!

@ ​​⁠oh my how exciting! I personally like females more because they are a little easier to house break, are generally friendly with all dogs if socialized well, but they seem to be a little more independent. Males are usually bigger, seem to be a little more affectionate, more goofy and playful, but if you don’t neuter them you’ll have to work through those behavioral challenges that can come with having an intact male (urine marking, maybe some displays of dominance with other male dogs) So based on those reasons, I would opt to get a female or neuter my male dogs pretty early so I don’t have to work through the crazy teenage boy-dog phase. it’s totally up to what you prefer!

@@kovivi3370 100% it’s worth investing the time into training. If you have specific challenges that need professional help that’s one thing. But most manners/basic training you can do by yourself and it’s like bonding time with your pup! ❤️
