Hey, so even the higher category rooms aren’t that much bigger, they just have a window our a balcony. The biggest sea terrace is the XL, which does have a larger bathroom, but doesn’t offer much more space. Check the other videos in our Virgin playlist and you’ll find some of our other cabins tours.

Yes there are, they are usually hosted at blend, you can book them via the app or website once booked. They may not show as available until a bit closer to your cruise.

I think this is a test to see if they will get more demand if they are in a better location. Time will tell I guess. It’s a bit of a shame that a public space is now private, but they wouldn’t build them if there wasn’t potential demand. The current cabanas are still on the deck plan, so seems they are also staying, but we could see new prices/offering coming with the new VIP ones. I was hoping they would remove some and offer more shaded sun space.

Yeah, there’s some nice little pockets to get away from it all if you want, which is nice on those longer voyages for sure. Agree with you on the Wellness Pool, it’s a great place to relax, but still feel part of the pool party vibe.

He really is a credit to APT, he so knowledgeable and passionate about the industry.

That has been possible at all the other ports I’ve sailed at with Virgin, so can’t image why it wouldn’t be the case for Portsmouth.

No, as mentioned in the video, this was filmed back in May 22. We had to wear masks to move about the ship, but not when sat down.

Great tips, thanks for sharing. We certainly want to come back to Alaska again some time soon, it’s literally the other side of the planet for us, so a bit harder to do often, but we fell in love and hope to be back again soon.

I really like the beds, amazing linen and I always sleep well. Some say the beds are too hard, but you can request a mattress topper from house keeping, and I’ve heard others say that’s helped them sleep better if they found the bed too hard.

Hi, I'm not 100% sure myself sorry, but the main bed will aways be a standard bed, typically the noted bed, i.e. the sofa bed will be the bed for the third/fourth person. So I wouldn't worry. Your booking confirmation will say what the main bed is i.e. twin/double.

If you time the promos right, you can get a standard insider for less than a solo insider as they have more of them available than the solos.

You can buy mini versions for sure, but not the large ones. That would be amazing wouldn’t it.

I can see how it would be an issue for some people, but I actually think the Sea Bed is one of the best nights sleeps at sea. I always sleep really well and typically don't like a hard bed. But as you say, you can always ask for extra toppers and pillows etc.

Hi, so Virgin ships follow the sun, so there really isn’t a bad time to sail with them, it’s more about where you want to sail than anything. The lowest prices will be the shoulder season, so Feb and September for Caribbean, then May/Oct for Europe. But it’s best to work out where you want to sail, then find the right itinerary. I don’t think Virgin Voyages will be a good choice of cruise line for you. Or socialising with the wider world if this is your biggest take away from the video.

It’s the same, but with a view of the ocean. (I don’t have a video of that loo of the ocean, but I have photos of the other loos with a view of the ocean).

Sadly, it sounds like you were in the Silver Leaf carriage for that leg. It may have been a maintenance issue perhaps as the Gold Leaf train wasn't available. I've heard it happen the otherway, where someone paid for Silver Leaf, but got a Gold Leaf carriage. Hope it didn't put too much of a downer on what sounds like an incredible trip.
