I replaced my whole front end to find out it was the lower control arm the whole time lol. Couldn't figure it out because it was effecting the front breaks making them rub on the rotor. I hate this car lol
That’s stinks. I ran into a similar problem with the brakes. Air in the line. After troubleshooting many times by bleeding and replacing some of the brakes, turns out it was air in the ABS module.
You are obviously much smarter than your brother Mike!

The way to remove is the stud extractor by PT W83203 on the exposed stud . Do not cut the rusted bolt. Extractor will remove the old stud. Then install new bolt. The bolt will be able to thread out because head is broken. Use a little heat too help free up the rusted bolt.
@@michaelwolf3224 thanks I’ll check this out
Very cool great job 👍.
Thank you so much! In just under an hour, i replaced the alternater.
@@sethoherin187 sweet! That’s awesome to hear!
Thank you for sharing.
Good catch thought you were going to miss the little holes in the jet.😅
Need my glasses for this one
I'm glad I'm not the only one that came across this issue. I lost a lot of religion dealing with the drivers side control arm yesterday. The passenger side I have to go back too.
Would you by chance know the part number for flange/gasket that can be replaced in the middle?

Step 1: Take your *any year* Altima to the scrapyard and never look back 😊
🙂
What brand truck is that that covered the drain with a weather strip?!
It’s a 2010 Nissan Altima but most older vehicles do it this way
What the heck! No one knows this but you 😆 I checked
I didnt know
In some cars like a ford explorer there is a plastic tubing line. Some times you have to snake that with a piece of wire
Okay that's amazing but I checked unfortunately I don't have that in my car😢😢
Thank you so much for the video!. Your attention to detail is awesome .I've been looking for a multimeter/ oscilloscope/ Multi-tool, for a while now. Could you please do a video testing a knock sensor off any vehicle? They retard or advance the timing of the engine using the frequency of the crystal inside. The crystal's frequency is AC and the auto system is DC. Weird, lol .. Can you please read it by oscilloscope and all methods with your VDIAGTOOL V200 Pro.. To see if it's working, all you have to do is connect the leads and slightly tap it and you should see it react.. Thank you. I'm now a subscriber
@@chadgama I’ll try as soon as I can. Thanks for the feedback
Wow awsome. Thanks for sharing and your time
Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully it helped.
So on mine, the nut started spinning on the control arm. Now I think I have to cut the drivers side floor board to get access to it.
Ugh sorry to hear that. I tried to remove it slowly so that didn’t happen. I got lucky. Not saying you did anything wrong. We’ve all been on both sides.
@@kurtT342 yup....good times..lol
Very well done. Super easy to follow!
Thank you for your video it was extremely helpful
Did u hv to buy for subscription to use foreman, was it easy to install
There is no subscription. One time fee for the purchase of the software (Forescan). Very easy to install. Like any other software you might install. Pay attention to the dongle required that attaches to the diagnostic connector. It needs to communicate with both High/medium speed can buses. The website is very good for guidance
The bolt failure is called Galvonic Corrosion between carbon steel and stainless steel. Stainless steel absorbs carbon steels electrons the conductor is water, moisture! do not put carbon steel bolts back in for the repair. go get stainless steel bolts. The exhaust system is stainless steel right along with the mounting flange notice no surface rust on the pipe! The top fastener broke on my 2021 ram so I was left with the stud I have an acetylene torch I put the heat to the flange area around the broken stud until cherry red quickly grabbed vice grips to screw it out it took several heat ups because stainless steel dissipates heat very fast. I also replaced the lower fastener, (First wire brush the exposed threads on unbroken bolt. I spent $ 20.00 for all the stainless steel fastens. Service garage charges $90. per Hour 3 hour estimated time to repair. so purchase a torch set and you will eventually pay it off in labor savings. 🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾
Luv the feedback and education! That’s why I started this channel so we can all learn from each other. Stainless it is!

nice work
Another great video 😅.
Hey, great video. Your Limo driver here. Do you do tutorials on how to reprogram garage doors? Went to TH-cam, Google, every where and nothing
Hey “J”! You can text me if u like. What make is the garage door? And ru trying to program fobs, remote in car, wall mount etc….
Great video. I’m a mobile mechanic in my city this was nice to see it broken down. My favorite part was “i saw some other videos where guys took the radiator hose off… we’re not going to do that” *fast forward* “all right we ended up needing to take the radiator hose off” 😂😂❤ respect i do the same, it was nice to see an honest thought process because it’s really like that when working on these cars.
Kudos to you brotha! Its tough out there. I'm glad it helped. There are so many of us looking for information and every little bit helps. Keep those knuckles safe!
Did you have to bleed your coolant afterward?
Great question. Nope, and I havent heard any gurgling coming from my heater core. My guess is that I didn’t lose enough to require it. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for the video man, saved me a ton of frustration.
That’s always my goal! Save the knuckles and our mental stability.
08-09 same setup anyway
Good to know. Always looking for accurate info.
was the signal generated by your oscilloscope ac or dc? if ac mode was selected from the probe, we expect it to catch ac voltage not dc voltage. if ac was selected and yet it still catches dc voltage signal then it means there is a flaw in that device.
Good eye! It appears both my oscilloscope and signal generator output an AC waveform. The oscilloscope 5 V pp @ 1khz. My signal generator depending on the setting 0-10v pp and variable frequency. I know from the manufacturers literature that the DC portion of the probe could measure up to 24vdc, I can’t speak to what the max value is when set to measure frequency. In any event, I was measuring an AC waveform on my oscilloscope with the frequency setting on the V200 pro.
Great job ! Good to see someone else struggle , not always as easy as people make it look . Thanks for sharing
Who makes the pancake impact gun you used
Astro pneumatics
Gotta love rust an exhaust work . Nice job
Is it actually a single channel ocilliscope??
Some might call it that, but I wouldn’t. It can measure DC voltage and frequency, but will only measure the positive a;ternation of a waveform.
Very helpful
Helo sir ya tool chaya
Please clarify if the tool graphs AC current (speed sensors etc) or pwm DC current or both?
Good question. From what i can tell, it captures the positive portion of the waveform. It graphs DC voltage, and the positive side of an AC waveform. It does not graph current/amperage. You should be able to measure the speed sensor output in frequency and voltage, but not duty cycle %
Very helpful, thank you
Question. Like the power probes. Does this tester let you know if there is resistance in the wire by not lighting up the little red and green lights
Hey Ken, to my knowledge and with the testing I've performed, no.
Ken check out my latest video. It attempts to answer your question about visual cues
👍👍
Sounds like a commercial. I want to know what it won't do.
Thanks for the comment David. It won’t measure high voltage, and it isn’t an amp meter. Is there something specific you have in mind?
could you use a chisel on thumper to spread the joint.
Absolutely! I tried that during the fast motion video instead of using a hammer. I found that if i had removed both bushing bolts and separated the control arm from the car, then removing the ball joint from the pinch bolt would have been easier. Thats why i shoot these videos, so i make the mistakes and you don't
They're more likie $200 way too expensive
$99 bucks on Amazon
Wow, look at all the jeep Cherokees.
If you want to know which vehicles you shouldn’t buy, just visit the graveyard😀
One of the worst places for filming is under a car and you nailed it with good lighting and view angles.
That is a nice pump looks medical grade quality. Which auto parts store am I able to purchase one?
Any pump that provides positive pressure will do. Hand held vacuum gauges work as well
Must be fun after a rain storm
Yup…I should have filmed the pond I had to walk around
Another cool video 📸.
Be careful not to destroy that pretty watch 😅.
Very good tutorial. Just got my scanner and have never really used one before. Worked on cars all my life so i kinda know my way around. Looking forward to this tool helping me out!
Let me know if you have any questions. I’m not a professional, but have worked on cars all my life as well. These scanners make it so much easier to diagnose.
