Nice
Great view at the top my friend!
@@hallahiking2933 it was a good day cloudy but the cloud movement was actually quite beautiful
Nice hike. Take care 😊 👍
@@NorwayHikesTrails thank you have a great day
@@NorwayHikesTrails thank you
How’d you hike down below the waterfall? We’ve only hiked the upper trail that got shut down a few years ago
@@AustenGunderson you have to go off trail a lil ways. Only do it if your comfortable going off trail it’s steep and usually muddy and lots of devils club at the bottom. Long sleeves help a lot.
@@AustenGunderson I have a full video posted on my channel of the climb back up so you can get a sense of what it’s like
I respectfully would like to suggest that you show people ahead of you in the cave for relative scale. We don't know whether these first tunnels are 3' in diameter or 20' in diameter. The stairs do convey size in one place. Overall, very good job for going down there and videoing.
@@frankcarbalan9572 this cave is pretty big up to 50’ tall in some areas
Great video. Poor taste in music.
Sorry can't get by the dumb background " music"
I remember walking into the southern tunnel in the 90s. It had larger boulders in it at the time. Got really creepy vibes off the place. Glad they opened it up a bit.
@@zoso1980 that’s awesome it changes alil more every year.
👍👍

I used to camp up there 10 days at a time , we didnt have that go around trail , we had to trevers a busted out bridge . Thank you for shareing . Be safe ,moss hangs over cliffs with no earth under them .
P.S. no walking under ladders even if discized as stairs
2 flashlights on at same time looking down both tunnels would make me feel safer than the panning back forth
@@ThomasWeaver-uf4cx it can get eerily quiet when in these caves alone. I always turn off my lights at least once just to see if I can see any light up ahead and never do.
I live 50 miles away and have been to the ice caves but only vaguely heard of the dheese cave.
@@stevecurtiss46 it’s definitely worth exploring theirs another cave close by that I still have to find.
I think cheese was just a cover up , thats a big tunnel for government cheese
@@ThomasWeaver-uf4cx lol
Beautiful place on earth! Thank you for sharing.
@@JoesphBlow my absolute favorite place
Thats pretty cool, I live by Stevens Pass and go exploring lost mines. We have a trout lake but not as cool as that.
@@johnrobinson9711 I live the Stevens pass area. Haven’t had a chance to explore any mines yet but I’m definitely interested in it just gotta research which are safe to enter

Packrats..
That looks like a LOT of fun! Is Cheese Cave a lava tube?
@@rrice1705 yes it a lava tube that was use to store cheese back in the day
That music is sooo annoying!

I lived in Redmond until 1987. I've been in these caves more times than I could count.
@@donaldjones5712 I enjoyed walking through them. Wish we had some caves close to home

Is this the Trout Lake near Sherman pass?? Cool cave👍
@@scrappydog175 no it’s near my adams
Nice Video :) I apparently missed this one (it's a little further east of my normal hiking zones) but looks like I need to get back out that way
@@grey1wa theirs lots of caves in this area make a trip out of it
@@509trailblazers5 I'm down.. looks like round trip to hit a few spots natural bridges and Carson about 4 hours drive coming out via 14

👍 awesome looks like the fam and I will have to check this out. Have you been to the natural bridges in the area?? Pretty cool!
@@StEmS509 yes I have it’s cool to see the collapsed caves and the remaining bridges
Wow such haters. Make your video how you want with what music you want. Thanks for sharing planning a trip there so it was good to see before hand, ty! 👍
@@StEmS509 thank you hope you enjoy them. If you haven’t been just down the road is the GULER ice caves and alil beyond that is the natural bridges
@@StEmS509 it's called feedback, not hate. Of course he can do what he wants, we can also not watch, I'm sure he would rather have the feedback than not know why people are not watching a video.
Do they call it the cheese cave because of the cheesy music? I can believe it. Narration next time because that was just awful, too repetative.
I've been to Trout Lake several times. Never knew about these caves. Trout Lake is more famous for something else. Google it, it's mad!
Its a YT video and people can always press the mute button. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. Have a great day
Those lava tubes are a trip. I'm with the others: Lose the tunes next time.
@@consentofthegoverned5145 they really are. I’ve visited so many over the years and it’s cool to think these were rivers of lava under ground all over the Gifford. Sorry about the music I usually just grab a stick track so you don’t hear me huffing and puffing lol
Decent video with the sound off. Kill the music next time.
@@gallowglass85 I usually use a stock track so you don’t hear me huffing and puffing the whole time
@@509trailblazers5 haha yah I figured, but I don't mind the huffing and puffing. I usually sound like I'm having a heart attack while I'm hiking. It was a good video, the music was just really repetitive and took away from the experience. I appreciate you sharing your adventures though.
The music is obnoxious. Maybe next time.
