I'm a young aviation lover, and I want to share some of the fun with you guys!
On my channel you'll see flight videos, reviews, and even some tutorials.
My passion is for aerobatic flying, but I enjoy pretty much any sort of flying.
Thanks for looking at Elijah Holman RC!

Going all out with the E-flite Eratix!
Got out with the Eratix to play in the snow! It's a ton of fun!

The last couple months I've gotten to know the awesome 60" Laser from Extreme Flight a lot. Although an old plane, it still flies really good and I've improved my flying skills a lot with it! Airplane details: Servos Ailerons: Hitec HS-7245 Elevator: Savox SV-1260 Rudder: JR DS3421 Prop Falcon 15x8 Motor EF 4016T/500 V2 Battery Turnigy 4000mah 6s 60-120c Thanks for watching!

Have you ever flown a OMP hobbies Edge? If so would you recommend this over one of their planes?
I have not flown one of those. But I can tell you that Extreme Flight is coming out with a new 49" series, and though I haven't flown one yet myself, I'm sure they will be amazing! I totally recommend Extreme Flight!
Love that plane!! Great flown!!
Me too bro! Thanks
Nice!!! How cold is it there?
Thanks! It was probably only about 30 degrees F
@ oh okay. Looked colder. Love the scenery though. You have a great flying spot
That’s awesome!!
Thanks man!
That looks so satisfying. And smooth
It really is! Probably my favorite way to play in the snow
Beautiful scenery and excellent piloting! 👊🏻👏🏻 Now clean up all that grease you left on runway! 😅👍🏼jkjk
Thank you! Haha it wasn't that good😂
That looks so fun!
It is man! It feels like landing on clouds!
Very nice..
Clean! 🤘👍
Great flying man. You get better and better every video!
Thanks bro! I'm trying
Found your channel today. What an inspiration! This video is awesome.
Thank you so much!
That takes a whole lot of skill! Nice work, keep it up! Next time in the area I’ll have to bring one of mine. I may need to get some lessons though! 😂
I appreciate that! That would be awesome
Sick flying man!
Nice flying Elijah! Great plane that one!
Thanks! 👍
Thats awsome! I need to get a good flat foamy one day. Would be a great plane to practice with. I was thinking of a eratix but its like $320. Will probably get a new plane from RC factory one day.
Yea you gotta get a foamy! They're awesome
Looking good 👍
Great skills!
Over g!
I also love that Extemeflight extra and I am very glad I got hands on such a great older model.
Yea this plane is great for learning 3d!
I am looking forward to easter to practice with it more. Very cold here in Norway so won’t fly that much.
I am thankful that RC flying is a sport and that it is so fun
Absolutely!
You have the battery way more in front compared to what I have on the exact same plane. I have mine touching the wing tube thing to get a good cg.
Yea I definitely did have it too far forward, but for some maneuvers it does better with a bit more nose weight.
@ with my extra and where the cg is back most maneuvers are better and easier but I can’t seem to get a good crankshaft with this cg. My yak 54 does them very well but not the extra. I might be a skill issue while flying the extra though
@@givdulsen The crankshaft is definitely a weaker point with this older 48 airframe
I have the it and I love it. Flying season here is ending so won’t be able to practice much with it. Goal is to hover it like you next season.
Nice! Yeah the good flying weather is definitely gone where I am already! Hovering can be a bit sketchy when you're learning it, but once you get it, man it's so rewarding!
@@ElijahHolmanRC I am able to hover many of my other planes so it is not hard like that. It is just to set the plane up so it has nice control in hover and not too pitchy and sensitive. I hover my funcub a lot.
Still though I would need some practice with the extra
@@givdulsen Something that will help you is putting enough expo on your elevator and rudder. I like about 35-40% on the elevator, and 25-30% on the rudder. That will make it much smoother
@ I am not the best with setting up radios. I use about 83% expo on elevator I think and still find it a little pitchy. I struggle a lot with learning my radio even though I have had it for a 1 and a half year. I use the radio master tx16s.
Love that laser! Did you get it new?
I love it too! My older brother got it new like a decade ago, then I bought it off of him not too long ago!
@@ElijahHolmanRClater on I need a 60 inch EF plane. I recently bought a yak 54 48 and right after that there was a yak 54 60 inch for sale but couldn’t get it since I already bought the 48 inch. I love your videos!!
@@givdulsen For sure! The 60 inch size is great! I got to fly the 67 inch Laser that EF sells now, and it is insanely fun to fly! A 67 is probably going to be my next plane. Thank you so much!
@ they are just so expensive new. I mean you get what you pay for but still.
@@givdulsen I'm right with you there. $1,200 is a little over my budget at the moment lol
What light are you using? I have a smaller 48 inch extra and a yak. Would be cool with light on them. It looks awesome!
I'm using some homemade lights that my brother made. That's cool, you should definitely get some lights on your planes! It's a blast!
I had a spitfire but I crashed it and lost it’s prop 😭
I like that laser scheme, better than the other two IMO
It is a really good one!
Thought I had my nuts and bolts RC podcast playing when I watched this 😆
Hah cause of the music?
@@ElijahHolmanRC yup
Idk why but i put the warthunder music over this
haha nice
Nice flying man... Sounds like something is a bit loose there.
Thanks! Yea I had some servo wires that were flopping around that I has since secured. Is that what you were hearing?
@@ElijahHolmanRC Sounds like a vibration. Maybe it was that. Enjoy!
ok, idk
Oops.
So good! You have her dialled in 👌
Thank you!
great flying Elijah!
Rad🤘
That would have been sick if you could do that in the world war II fighter plane.
I didn't know you could do that with a rc plane
Yea, and much more!
Very nice. All those hours of practice are certainly paying off.
I appreciate that!
Getting better and better man!
Thanks bro!
Absolutely incredible flying homie!
I appreciate it man!
Looking great Elijah!! You’ll be flying with the top dogs in no time at this rate.
Thanks! We'll see
You are raising the bar in every video, congrats and Daniel will be proud of you
Thank you! I appreciate that
The improvement in every one of your videos is insane dude! Each one it feels like you’re doing a more violent maneuver than the last 😂
Thank you so much! That means a lot. I've been pushing myself a bit out of my comfort zone each flight, and sometimes I surprise myself! It's so fun dude!
This is my goal to be able to fly like this! Practicing with my EF extra 300 48”
Are you using a gyro?
No doubt you'll get there man!
@@givdulsen No gyro
@@ElijahHolmanRC ok. I did setup on in mine but good to know you don’t need it
@@ElijahHolmanRC do you have a discord?
lots of nice moves! i love that flying site and mountain background since Daniel started posting videos
Thank you very much!
Elijah great flying man! The 60's fly awesome!
I appreciate that! Yes they do!
Killing it man!
I'm trying
Bought this model recently and just wating for some control horns. Hopefully will be maidening soon
That's exciting! Hope it goes well for you. You'll love it
@@ElijahHolmanRC what servo horns are you using?
@@givdulsen Just some plastic ones that were on the plane when I got it
You are raising the bar man, 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks!
One of my first Extra like 10 years ago, pretty good memories
Is that thing as awesome as it looks? I’ve had one on my wall for 6 months was waiting till trusted myself with balsa
Absolutely! This one was sitting in my plane room for several months too, and one day I finally just challenged myself and sent it. I would just encourage you to start on low rates and do several really calm flights and just feel it out, get used to how it handles in certain situations, and before you know it you'll be rippin it like its nothing!
👍👍👍
