It’s sounds good With RME default settings , now no lag in bass or mid bass. overall it’s better now. The excitement in presentation also good now. Still cymbals lacks little body . Yes isolation feet does work . I tested before after that i prefer to use where ever possible

@@kvrhifi excellent. Noticed out of the box a little anemic. 3 days in…it is sounding very very good. I don’t feel like it lacks cymbals in my setup. I find it is very very good with classical music. Amazing separation of instruments. Feel like I am in the music hall

No. Yamaha sounds more cleaner at top end, rhythmic drive excellent with Yamaha than rose. I am still trying to understand sound of rose. It’s new, played only few hours.

No 😊. Delivery date mid November. Silver not available. Previously dealer had only power amp and placed order for pre amp . By the time pre amp came in .. power amp gone . Now waiting for power amp and estimated time from Yamaha mid November. Look like they only start production in a batch once they get sufficient orders .not sure why so much delay . overall they killed my enthusiasm

Overall good . Lots of weight in mid to lower bass however high frequencies not upto the task .. cymbals sounds little thin and recessed also not airy and refined. If higher frequencies done right .. it would have been killer product with plenty of mid bass weight .

⁠@@revelry1969 many factors depending on amp/speaker/type of music combinations . This hifi rose is very good with modern music , sweet vocals with mid bass weight. Just that jazz /acoustic , improvisation music presentation did not meet my expectations (which I listen mostly). Look like hifi rose trying mimic the analog sound by sacrificing some qualities. Still i can recommend You to try this hifi rose . Note that all my thoughts on hifi rose ra 280 based on comparisons with Yamaha as3200. I have not tried any other similar priced amps with these speakers. If i remember kinky studio sound signature correctly , i prefer hifi rose over little dry sound kinky studio. May be you can also try Yamaha as1200 if you are into jazz and acoustic music

As initial impressions: Yamaha 3200 sounds much better clean highs and tighter and defined bass. Yamaha scale of sounds very big and wider where as hifi rose sounds thicker lower mid bass , mostly sound scale stay between speakers. I feel hifi rose still sounds like class D amp only especially with high frequencies however more bass than Yamaha but lacks clarity and definition. Let’s see after break in .

@@arunaryan1983 AGD audions are better than hifi rose ra 280 but still it has Class D sound nature with highs . AGD vivache was better . That was the AGD sound I liked at first place . But price was too high for me . Overall Yamaha as3200 sounds better for my ears. Very very clean and noise free .. I can listen hours at high volume with out any issues . Yamaha excels with Musicality with excitement Especially for jazz /Classic Rock improvisations .

Yamaha usb dac only works with computers which i do not use . It will not work with streamer USB output. Yamaha dac very quiet..less noisy..smoother , wider sound when compared to RME dac. However with RME dac we can control output voltage..i like rme mid bass weight(usb output) over Yamaha( coaxial output). I use to switch between these ..

I've been wondering if it's still competitive with recently similar priced DACs, as it was released more than 5 years ago. Anyway I still like its sound a lot. Would you recommend me a good USB cable to use with it? I remember you use a high profile Furutech, I can't remember which reference. Thanks in advanced.

@@JohnDoe-rn3jy I often felt Yamaha cds 2100 SACD playback much superior than external dacs with outside source . I don’t think so you find superior dac at similar price. May be you need to spend at least 5k for noticeable difference. Currently I using kimber kable ks copper usb cable.

Did you compare with digital version? With vinyl playback we get more body to instruments .. may be microphone picking up more of body of mids . I definitely can hear so much difference between analog and digital. Digital lacks the body sounds lite on mids …
