    I just followed these instructions and it all came apart easily. The hardest part was getting the integrated dishwasher out from under the worktop. I've ordered a new pump but my curiosity got the better of me and I disassembled the faulty unit. Two screws and it pulls apart. It turns out that the heater unit printed wire to the live contact had burned through leaving an open circuit. I cleaned up the printed wire and was able to solder a bridge across the short and hey presto, 20 ohms again. Reassembled and ready to go. I've filled it full of water and I'm leak testing it now since I had to break the water seal on the pump. Not sure if I'll give it a try or keep it as a spare since the new unit is on the way! Thanks for the help. 👍

      I identified exactly the same problem, but decided to replace the pump.👍

      @@MichaelHD77 I put the new pump in as well. I've kept the old repaired one under the worktop just in case. Easy fix but very grateful for the video. For anyone reading this, don't try and put the unit on its side, it has a heat exchanger full of water that then leaks ....... 😞

      No, I just removed the old paint and then treated it with several coats of hard oil.

    Well it didn’t help me just tried it, plug would come out and as for the heat pump unit couldn’t get it out at all just turns left & right. Pulling on as I twist it still doesn’t budge. So it’s off to the knackers yard.

    • @MichaelHD77
      @MichaelHD77 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is not easy to pull out the heatpump. To remove twist the pump clockwise. If the upper connection is disconnected, turn and move while pulling on the pump. Could take a while.

      Thanks for your message but a new one has been ordered, your video made it look so easy but the move set of three plug would not come out nor could I remove the pump itself no matter what I did. But thanks for your reply.

    How did you know which part to order? I see many heat pumps out there

    • @MichaelHD77
      @MichaelHD77 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You need the Type Number (or E-Number) of your dishwasher. The label is normally located at the door.

    I have a Bosch SHP65TL5UC/09. The pump keeps coming on every few minutes. Pumps water fine. I can see it pumping into my disposal. No lights or display on door. Just pumps for a few seconds. Then stops a couple minutes. Then pumps again but won’t start. Won’t reset. Ever seen this?

    how did you get that white thing out @1:47. It's pretty stuck, and there's minimal space for rotation. Just using brute force?

    Thanks for the video. I am measuring almost 4MOhms between pin 2&3 (not 19-20 Ohms as expected). Does this mean I have a bad heating pump? My BOSCH dishwasher (smv40e50eu) is not heating water, nor drying.

    • @MichaelHD77
      @MichaelHD77 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, yes if you measure 4MOhms and the water is cold, it looks like the heating pump is faulty. You could have additional a problem with electronic, but replacing the pump first is a good idea. Michael

    Hi between what pins are you measuring to test if its faulty? And where did you find the info?

    • @MichaelHD77
      @MichaelHD77 ปีที่แล้ว

      Between the middle and right pin (where the both red wires are on the connector) the left pin is ground (green-yellow) on connector. With this check you can test if the heating of the pump works. Found the information in the internet.

      @@MichaelHD77 hi thanks for the quick answer and the video My dishwasher also gave e09 (And e15 and e04) If i can ask a bit more so the resistance between middle and right should be +- 20 ohm (mine is 30 but i have a slightly different model) And what should be measured between ground and the other pins? Also mine had water under the pump could this cause a short? And e09? Already much appreciated

    • @MichaelHD77
      @MichaelHD77 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lieven1122 If you have water in your mashine, the pump pot gasket seems to be leaky. I have already replaced mine. Try to remove the water. 30 Ohm looks OK. Check right and middle pin against the left pin (ground). Resistance must be infinite. If not, heat pump must be replaced. If ok, you have a electronic problem. Your welcome!
