@@coinbutterfly8373 Simply put, Ragna is the main protagonist of the franchise, while Bang is one of those shonen anime protagonists in terms of personality and flair.
This is cool and all, but can someone explain the story to me? Because the comment section is talking about how this movie is following the game's story or the like.
@@coinbutterfly8373 I could be possibly exaggerating, but the lore is complex. Though I could try to tell you the story of Chronophantasma specifically.
@@coinbutterfly8373 Now I'll try to give a general synopsis and try to explain the best I can. This definitely won't be perfect and I might get a lot of details wrong. Now where to start is tricky, but my best bet would be to start with the characters. Keep in mind each character's story bounces of each other. I'll also do the characters that appear on this video and their stories to this point of the game. This going to get very long. Ragna (The white hair guy): He is the main protagonist of Blazblue. His entire childhood is rough, he was an orphanage, his adoptive mother (Celica) gets killed, his brother chops off his arm, and his sister gets taken away from him. He is forced to implant a device (Grimoire) into his body, that's where he gets his powers from, why his hair is white and why his eye his red. His life doesn't get better from here on out. He trains for years to rescue his siblings, only to find out that his sister has been cloned constantly and his brother is a murderous psychopath/sociopath. Long story sort he kills (and doesn't) one of his sister's clone, changes reality, loses his other arm, gets a robotic one, and becomes the most wanted man on earth. Jin (Blonde guy with the ice powers): Jin is Ragna's brothers. The katana he uses gives him the power to use ice but also makes him go insane whenever he's near Ragna. He taken to a military organization (NOL) and over the years becomes a major. He is constantly at odds with Ragna due to the katana, until he finds a mysterious power (The power of Order) that basically gets him to properly control his katana. In later games, he's not a murderous psycho. Noel (Blonde girl with the two guns): She is one of Ragna's sister's clone. She's like Jin's secretary in the first girl but later breaks off from him. She is at odds with her other clones, Jin, and even her friends. She gets mind controlled and becomes a weapon/problem in the second game, though she does turn back to normal. Rachel (Girl with the giant Black Cat): Rachel is a vampire that watches over the world. She's a being called an observer and their job is just to observe things. Rachel breaks that rule constantly to save Ragna. This gets her later down the line, cause she loses her powers because of it. Makoto (The squirrel girl): Makoto is Noel's and Tsubaki's best friend. She mostly helps Noel in the second game and is revealed to be a spy working for the NOL's rival (Sector Seven). In this game, she beats up Tsubaki to free her from her mind control. Tsubaki (Girl with the red hair and black suit): Tsubaki is Jin's lover and Noel's best friend. She's a little problem in the second game because of her military orders, however, she becomes a real problem in this game. In short, Tsubaki gets mind controlled and is constantly after Ragna. So Noel, Jin, and Makoto all go to break her mind control. They do this by sending her to a pocket dimension and beat her up. Which works. Izayoi (Girl with the green staff): Just Tsubaki in her powered-up form. Mu (Blonde girl with wings): Noel's powered up form. She is a problem in the second game. Later separates from Noel and becomes her person, until she doesn't. Nu (Robot girl with the wings): Nu is one of Ragna's sister's clones and she is also the craziest. She kind of like Jin, wanting to kill Ragna and all. It's revealed that in a different timeline she and Ragna merge to become a creature called the black beast. The Black Beast kills most of the world's population until it's finally stopped. Nu in other timelines strives to become the Black Beast with Ragna. Hakumen (Faceless samurai): I'm just going to spoil this now and just say that this is a Jin from a different timeline. First off, this Jin failed to stop Nu and goes through a time portal. He is sent years into the past where his soul is stuffed into a legendary armor (This armor is very important later). He and five others (Later called the Six Heroes) kill the black beast, and all seems good. That is until he's betrayed and gets flung into another time portal to the present. Like our Jin, he wants to kill Ragna cause he could turn into the black beast and whatnot. Kokonoe (Pink haired cat girl): She is the head of Sector Seven is the daughter of two of the six heroes. She helps Ragna and his friends throughout the games. She's also one of the smartest characters in Blazblue. Azrael (Blue hair guy with no weapons): Azrael is one of the strongest characters in Blazblue. He puts several power limiters on himself just to have a "fair" fight. Kokonoe once froze him in ice during a war, so he has a grudge against her. He wants to fight Ragna cause he is strong or something. Tager (Big Red Guy): Tager is the right-hand man of Kokonoe. In his early life, he was a mercenary that gets almost killed by Azrael. Kokonoe finds him, injects his body with some powered cells, and rebuilds him as a cyborg. He helps Ragna and the others like Kokonoe. Bullet (Girl with fire gauntlets): She used to be apart of the same mercenary group as Tager. Her group died when they went to war (I think they all got killed by Azreal). Years later she searches for Tager and wants to know what happened to him. Arakune (Weird insect thing): Arakune is this strange goop like being that used to be a human. When he was a human he worked with Kokonoe until he started to research Grimoires or something like that. This leads him down a dark path that ends in his body transforming into this goop thing. Arakune now goes after Ragna cause of his Grimoire. Litchi (Glasses girl with the staff): Litchi used to work with Arakune when he was human. The two got into a relationship that broke after he turned into a monster. She dedicated her whole life to turning Arakune back to normal, even going far as to side with the villains. Bang (Ninja with a giant Pin on his back): Bang is a ninja who guards a magical pin (This pin is one of the most destructive weapons in Blazblue). His master is killed by Jin in a war and has a grudge against him. While he guards the pin, he gets a crush on Litchi, trains a catgirl (Taokaka). He is at odds and works with the protagonist from time to time. Relius (Guy with the pink giant doll): Relius cause some of the problems in Blazblue, next to the main villain. He's one of the heads of the NOL, used to work with Kokonoe, turned his wife and daughter into two humanoid dolls, and is a little crazy. Carl (Kid with the hat): Carl is Relius' son. He wants to turn his sister(Ada) back to normal He's an on-off villain that's after Ragna Valkenhayn (Old man that turns into a wolf): One of the six heroes who used to work with Relius in his youth. He's now Rachel's butler. Amane (Guy in the pink dress): He's an observer like Rachel, only he actually does his job. He kind of killing Rachel by being alive. Platinum: Platinum is a body that houses three personalities, two kids, and one of the six heroes. They are targeted for her weapon (That basically makes anything or something like that). Kagura (Guy with the massive sword): Kagura is the captain of the NOL who secretly goes against the NOL. He works with Kokenoe and thus Ragna. He develops a life or death rivalry with Azrael. Terumi: The main villain of Blazblue and he causes everything in Blazblue. He was once the god of destruction until he gets his body torn away from him (Which is Hakumen's armor). He takes over someone else's body, goes on hissy fit, gets mind-controlled, becomes one of the six heroes, breaks from his mind control, throws four of the six heroes (including himself) into time portals, sort of cofounds the NOL, makes a clone, possesses his clone, kills Ragna's adoptive mother, mind controls Tsubaki and Noel, gets ripped from his clone's body, kind of becomes a hostile ghost, and goes through some more hijinks. Hazama (Green hair Micheal Jackson): Hazama is Terumi's clone who he possesses throughout the games until Kokonoe splits them apart. He becomes an actual person in the last game. So this is all the characters in this video (Though I might've missed one, I don't know). I'm might've made a few mistakes and I'm certain you have a lot of questions.
IMO the order of these clash matches, was the most impressive part of this video. Buramen walked us through Chrono Phantasma's story Arc in a truly epic fashion.
