Making an Adjustable Workout Bench with reclaimed hardwood
Construction of an Incline Weight Bench with beautiful beech wood that somehow ended up in the garbage before I found it and reclaimed it.
Sorry for the grainy video quality... and also the sandals.

Homemade ACTUAL Batarangs out of an old saw blade
มุมมอง 1.2K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Batarangs can be made easily using only three relatively common tools, the most important of which being an Angle Grinder. Files could actually be used to replace the other two, but with all three tools, the build takes less than an hour. These are functional but not sharpened. They could however still be dangerous and thus will only be used as decoration. My Instagram : oyymof

The disturbing tale of a jolly yet clumsy accountant at a struggling paper company and his depressed boss trying to get him to eat better. Sorry for the shitpost lol. I realised while uploading this that another user named Kase K already had a similar idea some time ago. How embarrassing for me. Why'd you spill yer beans ?

    I searched for "DIY weight bench". Not "how to make a super quality hardwood weight bench by an expert craftsman with thousands of dollars worth of equipment." Man that was an impressive piece of work.

    Whoa. This is on another level good! I think the most vertical backrest adjustment slot wouldn’t work so you may need to adjust the groove angle, maybe? I would add some additional stability support towards the end and add some leg attachments for some kickass ab workouts.

    • @TheBjargu
      @TheBjargu ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you ! That is correct, I miscalculated for the top slot, but I also realised the others (plus the arm adjustment) were plenty enough, so all is fine ! I did end up adding an additionnal lateral stability foot on the other end, just to be extra safe. The leg attachment is a great idea I should seriously look into !

    Appreciate the video and the craftsmanship, but I think most people on YT are looking to make something with their circular saw and a sander, rather than $1000s in equipment.

    Great skill. Personally, I'd want some more sideways stability though in the head end as well, and some rubber feet to prevent sliding.

      Thank you ! I fully agree with you regarding stability. The bench was surprisingly stable as is, but after the video was done I added another perpendicular piece on the head side just to be safe ! You can never be too careful with these kind of things

    • @MartinThmpsn
      @MartinThmpsn 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This question is asked elsewhere, but, yes, the power is passed over the hanging cables. It’s only 12V so it isn’t dangerous and the cables themselves have a thin plastic coating as well. It’s done the same way in similar commercially-produced lamps. You can see the 12V connection being made to the cable ferrules around 15:00.
