Scafell Pike - The BEST route to England's HIGHEST mountain #lakedistrict #hiking #scrambling
England's tallest mountain sitting at 978m the mighty SCAFELL PIKE. This was on my to do list for a while and it did not disappoint, great to get some snow on top of this mountain as well. I choose to take the corridor route and although challenging was an epic day out, i hope you all enjoy the video and if you do please give it a like and subscribe and keep an eye out for future videos.

Ben Nevis Via the CMD Arete: The UK's Tallest Mountain #bennevis #hiking #scotland #climbing
มุมมอง 1.4K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
Ben Nevis standing at 1345m is the UK's tallest mountain and boy was it worth the 8 hour drive. This is the CMD route which takes you up to Carn Mor Dearg 1223m then across the Arete which is a ridge and grade 1 scramble up to the mighty Ben Nevis. Toughest hike to date but worth the sweat and tears hahah.

Snowdon via PYG Track | Solo Winter walk
มุมมอง 1.1K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hi and welcome to my channel, this is my first solo hike and I choose to do it in winter and via the Snowdon PYG track. Was an awesome experience and one I would totally recommend to anyone. I have only been hiking for around 4 weeks and this was my second mountain in as many months. If I can do it so can you, get out there and make some memories. #snowdonia #snowdon #mountains #climbing #hiking
Done this route in 2018 in similar conditions. It was my first time on a proper ridge traverse. Probably the best way to see Ben Nevis in all her glory. Cheers for the vid 👍
I’m heading there in October. Fingers crossed it’s not yet snow / ice.
Extremely unlikely it will be.
I did that route in 2019. It’s a good cure for constipation 💩
😂😂😂 I found the worst part was the rock/bolder climb to the summit, dam that part was a killer, thanks for watching 👍🏼
@@anthonymclaughlin2441 A pleasure. I’m heading to Wales in October hoping to climb Helvellyn. Just noticed you have a couple of vids from there - I’ll have a look at them tonight 👍
Yeah I have a Snowdon video and a couple from the Lake District. Helvellyn and Scafell pike, Helvellyn was my first mountain and the striding edge route is awesome highly recommend that mate, probably my favourite to date.
@@anthonymclaughlin2441 I’m looking forward to it. ⛰️
It looks wonderful
Was an awesome day, very tough but worth it. Thanks for watching 👍
Cmonnn Tony,it looks amazing and cool 💯,but it should be hard to do it but u can do it!!
Yeah was a lot harder then i thought, but worth it and battled through the cramps to reach the top. Thanks for watching 👍 more videos coming soon.

Well done. That’s so cute. What a cool little tough kid. Loved that.👏👏 Liked and subbed now. I'll follow your journey. Lots to do in that area. Don't know if you are now a local? Pen y Fan is 35 mins drive for me. Look forward to more from you and perhaps the little man.😁👋
Thanks for the like and sub, appreciate it. Yeah hes a tough kid took a lot of chocolate buttons to get him to the top haha. I'm not local but i try and get over to Wales or the Lake District once a month to climb, got a lot of mountains on my hit list so plenty more videos to come 👍
@anthonymclaughlin2441 Cool. Chocolate buttons 😁😂 Waun Fach, the Dragons back is good. I've been to a few crash sites in the area too and bothies. People like watching all that stuff. Scafell Pike for me next month. I'm uo there for about 50 hours and cram as much in as possible. Keep the vids coming.👍
Looks beautiful

Winter really is the best time to Hike/climb 👌
awww look at him!! so cute and brave!! well done daddy
Great video, we're doing it next week. When did you do it?
Hi, thanks for the view, I did it on the 24th of Feb so only a few weeks ago. I was super lucky with the snow. Have you decided on the PYG track?
@@anthonymclaughlin2441 we're going on Saturday but new to hiking. So abit nervous about the snow. We were planning Pyg up and Miners down
Not sure how much snow will still be up there as heavy rain is forecast all week, you will be fine either way it was only my second mountain and like you I’m new to hiking. A good pair of boots and I’d recommend a walking pole and you will smash it 👍🏼
Well done!!
What an incredible view 😮
Have you checked your pants after that lol?
That was close 😬😬😬
Looks so dangerous
Where abouts is this?
Wow 😮
Awesome!!
