Hi, the bathroom and the toilets are separated in townhouses. However, in John Foley or Harmony, there are both in the same area
could you please film a video of just the dining hall in detail? also, do all the residences have a dining hall at utsc
Hi, the dining hall is currently close for a few days, but when it is up I will do so. UTSC only has one dinning hall but we have other different locations to eat food on campus.
how is the food at the residence?
Hi, from my experience the food is okay. As the dinning hall is in a buffet mode, students tend to find it repetitive as the menu changes every 2 weeks, but overall I would say that you would appreciate it. When talking about the other food places on campus, you have more diversity.
hiii what are your thoughts on the new harmony commons? as a first year, or are the townhouses a better option?
Hi, I hope this information help: - the food is place in Harmony when you are in meal plan (which is mandatory for all first years) so some students found it difficult to walk alll the way but it really isn't that bad (except in winter) - In term of room, Harmony is brand new building that have the aesthetic that you would see in door movies but some students found that in the shared rooms, that they had some issue with their roomates. - Because I lives in Towhouse and saw all Harmony rooms, I personally like towhouses because it is a little house, but definetly some people would adore Harmony than other. - Living in Harmony, is like your little apartment (if you are in single room) (based on students feedbacks) - If you never shared your place before with someone (siblings...) leaving in shared rooms (either in Harmony or towhouse) may be challenging, so you might want to take that into consideration. - Also, you are able to ask for a room change request but to be eligible you need a solid reason and hope that there is enough space for you to move into. (this is not base on first come first serve). It depend on how needed it is for the students.

Hi, no worries! I notice that UTSC didn't have a lot of room tours, so I wanted to make one. However, just keep in mind, that most first year are going to be place in our new building! Unfortunately, we cannot access it for now, so I can't make a room tour, but you might find yourself in a completely different setup ❤
