3 or 4 days is a good amount of time to see the best sights,. It's easier to get around with a car so that you don't have to worry about time schedules, but they do have good transportation: trains, buses, taxis, ubers...you can get around with public transportation. Cheers 😎

Complimentary means free, so there are no complimentary restaurants onboard as you have paid for the food in your cruise fares. Can you see any cruise line giving you anything for free?

Thanks-yes, you need jackets and rain gear! Can get very windy and rainy. Highs in the 50's Farenheit. You get some nice sunny days sometimes but it can get very cold! Have a great trip!!😃🛳

You should always check the prohibited items for the cruise line that you'll be traveling with. In my case, extension cords ARE allowed on NCL. www.ncl.com/prohibited-items Things can change over time. Recently, Royal Caribbean has put extension cords and multiple plug devices on the prohibited list.

It was pretty quick, we applied and paid for the visa online a few months before our trip. I know that our info said we had to pay them cash when we got there. Can't remember, I think we did pay cash and they put visa page into our passports. Its a small airport and they have gift shops, coffee shop, some money exchange places there. We changed some money for tips and souvenirs. They prefer larger bills 50, 100 and you can get a better rate with larger bills.

@spokesdog9958 We didn't see Murchison falls or the rhinos, I really loved the wilderness camp in QENP- so amazing to camp at the river with elephants, hippos and Buffalo at the river. We stayed just 1 night there, it would have been great to stay a little longer. The hotels were really beautiful but you don't really spend enough time there to enjoy it. We saw so much in 10 days!

Also, you should definitely take the boat tour thru Kazinga channel in QENP-amazing wildlife!

The main one you need is Yellow Fever, that is a requirement that you have to show proof of to enter the country and there are a few more that are recommended that we got: Tetanus, Hep A and B. We went to travel clinic in advance and got the recommended vaccines that we needed. 😎💉

Cruise lines are getting better at showing the full cost including taxes, fees and port charges with a breakdown but that doesn't include the gratuities/tips of $20 per person per day. 🛳 Any excursions you book will cost extra too.

Hi Mark, It was with the desserts at the buffet at lunch, dinner/late snacks. 😃🍪🛳

@@taste4travelorg The only cookies I ate, were the ones the room steward left in our suite. I did not dine at the buffet --Only 8-specialty and 2- main dining restaurants. This port intensive trip gave us an opportunity to eat local and in port which was delish.
