The demo is the full version of the game, but you can only play half a season, you are also limited to quick starts so you cannot start a new season.

Clearly the South is the issue, my failure to address Odessa always causes me problems tying up so much resources, as well as the poor Hungarians and Rumanians, which is only added to by pushing to far before digging in. @@KHarling 4,924 mil total. 1,029 killed , 3,277 mil captured, 616k disabled ... 78k guns, 17836 afv, my losses are 319,268 total, 101622 killed, 216k disabled, 1056 captured. air almost 14k destroyed soviet planes vs 1436 of mine 328 destroyed infantry divisions. Great game. I must dig in :) but I try to infllict some losses. Ah Blizzard

@@KHarling There’s no commentary (which can be fine) but I felt the content needed some kind of explanation. Running around Malmouth in Normal at level 98 is more of a chill-out than a levelling tactic so I was expecting some kind of voiceover talking about what we are watching. If the video title was more informative than just ‘Grim Dawn’ - ‘Relaxing Malmouth Run’ for example - it would make a big difference to the viewer expectations. Regarding the inventory full of components and crafting items, there’s absolutely no need to do this for two main reasons apart from the inconvenience of inventory clutter: 1 - blacksmith and shrines can pull the required items from stash (personal or shared) 2 - all your characters can access the shared stash components without needing them in their inventory or personal stash (separate across hardcore and softcore obviously) There’s nothing fundamentally wrong with the video footage that a title change can’t sort out, and the inventory clutter is just something I find 😱

@@Arcadelife1 I agree, unfortunately for some of us commentary is not a comfortable premise. I am slowly building up to it, nerves and all. As for the easy run, I am a newb, only ever had 2 characters reach Level 100. The components is just a personal thing, I did originally have them in shared stash. As for titles, I will get there. @@Leviackerman-bj1my Well if you do a Career mode and manage any team, say Manchester United, you can go as many seasons provided you are not fired by the board. You have goals you have to attain every season set by the Board. So it is the same as real life.

a few old school games like crusade in europe, battalion commander, and some others, eastern front is supposed to be unwinnable on the expert levels.

Well I don't know of any American Football Manager type games but if you are into baseball there is OOTP 24. Same kind of depth as this, perhaps even more.

I was pretty much just wondering if you have any tips for siege operations? I also got the 600mm mortars down to odessa along with lots of heavy artillery but they do very little damage to the fort and it repairs about 10% strengh every week. Its and endless material wasting spiral for this stupid city very frustrating. 30% of my heavy artillery including the both 600mm mortars have already been destroyed.......

The same ones you are conducting. I just put either the Romanian or Hungarian on Naval patrol. I recommend you watch matteo bosseo. I will give you the link, he will set you on the right path. It all begins on Turn 1, involving pioneers to the 12th army and more. Anyway he gives a great tutorial on besieging, odessa, leningrad and sevastopol. Hope this heps, and thanks for watching. No I have just been adapting as I go. Watched a couple of vids, so as to start with a powerful skill ( Forcewave ), I then knew I preferred Two-handed weapons and so used gear along the way that suited, especially stuff that added to Forcewave and Blade Arc, among other Soldier skills. Never done a build guide perhaps I should. Thx for watching have a great day.

Grim Dawn has so much build flexibility. Play how you like to play, most builds are viable. Just focus on one or two damage types and have high resists and life. You should be good. Have fun.
