Sadly even the included advice sounds more like a commercial, they should be not going for a sponsorship from Wizards of the Coast, but look at games that are more appropriate for kids from the RPG world, like "Kids on Bikes", or "Honey Heist". Things that promote reading, while at the same time not needing all the extra work to make them appropriate for children in the first place, since the vast majority of videos found on TH-cam that relate to D&D are not aimed at children, but adult audiences with college level humor, that parents would not likely want their children seeing. Sadly it seems WotC is trying to push D&D sales through all libraries, and many are promoting it to children, without looking into it, or educating themselves on the other RPGs out there that are made for children. Educating parents about the content would be much more useful than just making an hour long advertisement for a game company blindly.

This virtual program was created by our staff for our library families. (Of course, being librarians, we are happy to share with friends outside of Hershey, too.) We were inspired by the Cory Doctorow article referenced in the description to create an evening of fun exploration in the world of Dungeons & Dragons/RPGs for children and their grown-ups who might feel overwhelmed by the structured world of commercial gaming. The response from our families has been very positive and we look forward to creating more original content in this series.
