1:00 to 1:08 From Kimimaro to Rock Lee was the best parts of this version. Rock Lee was my favorite after the Chunin exam fight with Gaara. Been best bro since.

That version is special..the fight between Hidan and Asuma. I had a soft spot for Asuma, that was his arc, one of the best part of the story in Shipudden. His death really was unexpected and so sad. His death was the start of the seriousness of the anime. It became darker.

That animation for Kimimaro is so smooth.

If anyone noticed, alongside with Hidan being dramatic by twirling his scythe around, he's the only one looking at the camera the whole time. Kakuzu didnt look at the camera nor is even facing the camera after the spinning frame. Its just another cool way how the animators show that Hidan is all about getting the audience's attention while Kakuzu dont give a care about us. 😂😂 Hes probably staring at Asuma and thinking about that bounty.
