Get outside, practice when you can, and stay dirty! Check out one of my many mentors, Tony Powers on TH-cam. Click here. www.youtube.com/@TonyPowers_Outdoors Thanks for watching! THANK YOU!!!! This American was just about to buy this brand as it is less expensive than the UK Thornhill Ultraheavy, the US Tentsmith and US Coalcracker Bushcraft. I guess there is a reason. Again, thank you for saving me from being irritated as well.

    Tough but happy camping. Campers' hearts that can be felt in your video. I am the same. It's cold, but the warmth given by a small wood-burning stove is very great. It cannot be exchanged for anything. We support your video and channel. I am very much looking forward to future videos. Fighting!!♡

    See you in the morning. AKA went back across the street to his house.

    • @simple.survival67
      @simple.survival67 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely didn't go back across the street to my house. I did walk across the field to the trees on the other side of the treeline you see in the background. Total distance was about .3 miles. It was too dangerously cold to walk back after setting up. My goal in this video wasn't hiking a long distance but to get out in the woods and test my hot tent and sleep system. I will say, the walk back home at 630am was worse than the walk there the previous day. Felt like my fingers were borderline frostbit even with Insulated gloves on.

    Cotten balls are great. Even better, I smear Vaseline on mine and they work in all weather conditions; snow, rain etc. basically a weather proof fire starter on the cheap. Take sparks great as well.

    Just a thought if you have a hot tent maybe film inside it so your phone works.

    • @simple.survival67
      @simple.survival67 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It froze up while I was setting up the tent. By the time I got it turned back on it was late and I had a lot of work to do getting firewood cut to last the night. Even after turning it back on, it wasn't working right so I left it inside the tent to hopefully warm back up.
