@@tantetalks it's only compatible with the version of Better Than Adventure that's in the video. If you're playing on Vanilla Beta 1.7.3, you can find texture packs online that bring back the alpha cobble and bricks. But I don't know about the old neon side-of-grass, if that's something you're interested in, I can upload a Google drive of a texture pack with the old neon sides.

I made sure to render it properly for people like you. My main monitor is a CRT as well, so I knew I had to do things right for my CRT brothers

I feel that it has just enough new features that spice things up, while still feeling like beta Minecraft. Their latest release adds a few things that take it further from beta, which you can check out yourself to judge. They changed the food and hunger system which was a little odd to me

​@@Bl1nk2741 Yeah, I downloaded your version and just played for 4 hours straight hahah... Built a house, just a little paranoid about monsters spawning (especially creepers) because I'm not too aware of how lighting works in that version

@@Teleport-w5y Ha nice, I'm glad you're liking it. I'd just say place as many torches around as you can. Mobs really don't spawn anywhere inside my town, just outside of it where I don't have torches. Typically I still go to bed when I'm building and it turns to night, cause I'm not a fan of getting sneaked up on by a creeper while building lol. I only go through nights when I'm exploring my town.

Thank you man, 7.1_01 of Betterthanadvebture is probably the sweet spot for beta mods. I support the developers of the mod, but I think they've gotten a little too close to the adventure update with their latest release, so personally I'm sticking to 7.1_01.

​​@@Bl1nk2741yeah, I kinda feel similiar but you know, they from very beginning said that it's a fork of minecraft, not like better beta or something, you have other mods that are sticking to beta as they are, and hey as you said, you can just stick to early bta versions

I don't run a server for this world but there are quite a few beta 1.7.3 servers and even BetterThanAdventure servers

Great story, I was hoping I'd get a few of these. You more than likely changed the course of a lot of kid's lives just by introducing so many to the game, I'm sure a lot of them to this day still appreciate that.

@@Bl1nk2741 Technically when it stands on it side its a Indian/buddhist luck symbol (used before on medals of diffrent nations for example and flags before austrians came to power in germany in 1933) and the germans stole it. The symbol itself only counts as the german symbol when it stands on its corner/tip in the shape of a rhombus. Thats why its tilted on the flag and every other official use of it.

@@Yourlocalwordrobe yeah the symbol is manji. People thought a dungeon in the first Zelda was a swastika but it was manji, the same shape my windmill was, lol. I changed the windmill though so I wouldn't get anymore comments about it

​​@@Yourlocalwordrobewhat?! Lol that's some history channels bs. The swastika was an old Christian symbol used by the church because of persecution. Before that the Germanics used that symbol as well. It's not just a "Buddhist" symbol.
