I’ve been told that heat wrapping can cause exhaust systems to rust and fall apart over time… any thoughts on the matter?

I am running a JDL turbo and I a Running around 450hp for about 5k miles. I am running e85, 1050 injectors aem fuel pump, boost controller, oil cooler, aos and suspension mods.

That spacer is also an issue on 1st gen.

I'm pretty sure 350 to the wheel makes that car plenty fun to drive on the street and you are not playing with fire. The biggest factor will be E85. They will probably be happy at 400 on E, but for people who dont have the mighty E I dont think going over 330-350 is a good idea on stock block.

Good vid.. going up to a Supra costs a lot more than just 8k over the price of a brz though, at least where I live.

It definitely looks better de-badged. I de-badged mine the day after I brought my 2024 BRZ home. I also changed out ALL of the yellow plastic engine caps & dipstick handle for Verus Engineering aluminum ones. The yellow plastic ones look like they came from TEMU

yup, I did this awhile ago, it's a must when running this exhaust on the 2nd gen

In my opinion, it's a bit too loud, it can just be tiring. I have HKS Hi-Power Single and I think it's perfect.

The fans have spoken, but Toyota never listened, they, like all automakers today like to waste billions of dollars 😆 in this case an ugly non retro, non affordable BMW that no real Supra fan would ever want. What the hell made them actually think that would work? 😂

This is nothing new. The mk4 Supra was a sales flop as well. But the Supra has added much needed enthusiasm for the Toyota brand even though it didn’t make them much profit. This why manufacturers are reluctant to build sports cars in general because it’s high risk low reward.

Hey man love the video, very descriptive and educational. Just one thing I noticed is the fact that you said the automatic trim is faster which is wrong, the automatic is fine but a bit sluggish so the manual comes on top with the 0-60 and 1/4 mile on paper. Again amazing video just wanted to point that out👍

Imagine only having 8 horsepower more than the current Prius Prime. And having an engine that grenades when using it at the track which is what people make excuses about. “It’s not meant to be fast in a straight line! It’s for the track!” *engine explodes*

I, too, hate steering wheel controls. I never use them, so I'd prefer a more aesthetic steering wheel.

So you can watch your car die in real time and still be able to do nothing about it. When the pressure drops you’ll be going too fast to shut it down in time to stop it. Save the money, get a proper Accusump, the gauge should come second to this. But if you don’t track the car….. all of this is not needed. I have all of these mods on my BRZ 😘

My Biggest concern is the poor customer Service, ratings etc all these Engine builders have ( AIG , Crawford etc) specially AIG! I reached out to them for a simple Question 2twice & never bother to get back to me! I'm new to this community coming from Nissans, Mitsubishi, honda & Rotary. Anyways I was debating in keeping this Engine boxer engine .but now seeing how these companies are! I'm just gonna go LS swap in the future.
