Just purchased my first Beovox CX50’s, just wondering why people re-foam these when they’re from the 80’s rather than replacing the whole driver with a modern replacement? Thanks

Welches lötzinn nutzt du? Ich habe das Problem, dass das Zinn nicht an den Kabeln hält.
Hallo, es liegt am Lötfett bzw. Flussmittel. Ich schmiere die zu verlötenden Bereiche immer Großzügig mit Lötfett ein. Zu sehen ab Minute 7:19
@@gratesamson das habe ich tatsächlich auch gemacht. Ich habe eher das lötzinn oder die Temperatur im verdacht. Oder halt, dass die Kabel beschichtet sind? Vielleicht sollte ich sie Mal mit einem Feuerzeug flambieren 😄

Hi, it´s a 4 pin jack plug, I have a sound card with an extra connection for audio and mic. I need an adapter that splits the signal into audio jack and a mic jack.

Wie ist das mit dem tygr 300 r umbau wenn man musik hört nimmt das Micro das auf oder hört man das nicht? Gibt ja auch das v moda boom pro.
Hi, ich habe tatsächlich auch das v moda boom pro getestet und es werden keine Geräusche an das Micro weitergegeben. Das Beyerdynamic Mic ist aber Qualitativ hochwertiger.
@@gratesamson ok danke vom Kabel her besser? Hat das Beyerdynamic auch keine Geräusche aufgenommen vom Kopfhörer Zb in Shootern oder so?

Insgesamt ist das Beyerdynamic Mic besser sowohl die Verarbeitung als auch die übertragene Sprach Qualität (Discord/TS3) wobei das V-MODA BoomPro Mic auch vollkommen ausreichend ist für diese zwecke. Der austretende Sound der Kopfhörer wegen der offenen Bauweise war bei beiden Mikrofonen kein Problem. Grüße Samson

Great video thanks, you made me want to get this headphone and buy a solder gun etc and try this, have you tried the mmx 300 compared to the tygr? If so do you have a preference? Also is that connecter 3.5mm? Thanks
thank you, yes i was able to compare the tygr 300 r with the mmx 300. in my opinion the tygrs sit more comfortably, the bass is not that strong but still there, the highs are not so sharp and the mids are slightly set back, they sound very open, the Separation of music is great, better than the mmx 300. the location of enemys in games is just as good as the mmx 300. i prefer the tygrs for gaming as well as listening to music. yes the connector is a 3.5mm.
One question: Did you observe any changes with Audio Quality or characteristics after you added cable connector jack and changed the cable?
No audio changes, absolutely the same sound signature, that's why i closed the small gap with hot glue otherwise the bass would have changed.

Well done! I'm planing to do a similar mod to mine, but i will install 2.5 mm 4 pin Sennheiser jack since i have some great third party headphone cables with volume, play control, and mic.
