Roches Duprat - Gouf de Capbreton
Diving the "Gouf de Capbreton". This under water canyon is 3'000m deep and we are diving the edge close to the coast where max depth is only 600m.
This is a unique submarine canyon formed by the spreading of two tectonic plates 20 million years ago during the Cretaceous, in the extension of the old Adour riverbed that once flowed into Capbreton, before the river was diverted to Bayonne in 1578 by the engineer Louis de Foix.
The Gouf offers a unique ecosystem where you can encounter abysmal creatures.
The Cap Gouf Exploration team is conducting scientific research to discover, documents and better understand this ecosystem.

Another wreck dive from team Lust for Lust on LT-221 The American Tug Boat / Minesweeper sunk on October 15th 1944 after hitting mines placed in defence of the Gulf of Cagliari. The wreck lying on its right side on a sandy bottom at a depth of 49 meters. The blast impact related a massive hole in the hull between the stern an bow. @jj-ccrrebreathers1301 #teamlustforrust

Ice Diving in the Swiss Alps. The Lioson Lake is on the path to the Col des Mosses at 1'848m which makes it a great spot for winter dives. Videos were shot in mid February and end March 2022. Team #LustForRust is out again for a video shoot on the water intake at -45m in Morges (Lac Leman, Switzerland) for a runtime of 1h45m and more than 2km scooter roundtrip.
why some of them clip diluent at ship? They understand what for that tank? )
Hi @hashrus, Thanks for asking, that's indeed an important question ! The tanks we are leaving on the wreck at the beginning of the dive are not diluant but backup decompression tanks (50% O2) and they will only be needed on the way up to the surface in case of failure or our rebreather units (CCR). The diluant is a 3l tank directly attached to the CCR (as well as a 3l O2 tank). and we keep with us as all time our bailout tank (to be used as a backup in case of CCR failure while we are on the wreck). Such dives requires careful planning for the team and a specific gaz strategy is put in place for each dive depending on the team'd objectived and specific conditions.

Christ that's terrifying. I'm sure you love this stuff and it's great you're able to indulge in such a cool hobby, but this is pure nightmare fuel for me.
it require a lot of training and preparation to do that safely, and it's probably you are sometimes taking more risks in your everyday life. 😉
@@kanproductions Oh don't get me wrong, I've watched enough Dive Talk to know that diving is as safe as you want it to be if you follow the rules, but this is a deeply primal fear that goes well beyond rationality! I have a great deal of respect for divers, especially cave and saturation divers, I just know I could never do it myself.
