Uhaul rents pretty cheap motorcycle trailers with a ramp. It has a portion in the front to capture the motorcycle's front wheel. I just paid $34.93 (got the extra uhaul insurance) to transport my new 2024 Honda africa twin adventure ES DCT. Since the bike was about 17k, I figured a $35 was pretty cheap. If you had a Honda Accord with a hitch, you could tow that package. Why do it the hard way?

Be better if you had a real bike. Not a junk harley.

Even a driveway with slight incline. Parking the rear wheels of the truck at the lowest point of the driveway, the tailgate will now be inches off the ground instead of 2 feet😂

back the truck up to a curb. this will cause your sleepy little one-way street to turn into rush hour, but the bike goes on level.

First set ramp to truck bed. I find it safer and easier slowing down to 55 or 60 before launching bike and said person into the bed. Of truck. Ice for scrapes. Midol for cramps. Hope this helps.

Even if you get it in, how are you getting it out? Rolling backwards down the ramp? You have zero vertical stability rolling backwards, unlike going forward. You should have used two ramps and walked it up, and then walked it back down. And additionally, from the get go, use a trailer lower to the ground actually made for this.

That is not an example of doing it the right way.

ive loaded at least 9 bikes onto trailers with my uncle, not once did we ride one of them up the ramp. Put the bike in first and work the clutch to walk the bike up the ramp, have someone on both sides to make sure a jiffy stand or a saddlebag doesnt hang up on the fender of the trailer and to stop the bike from falling in either direction. It really is that easy
