Due to being in the process of learning Yukari's fight, I used an external program to let me savestate, but limited myself to savestating between attack patterns, as if this were the dread Touhou 15's Point Device Mode. Aside from that, however, all gameplay is legit, just that I only "accepted" pretty good runs of each card, aside from her final spell, at which point I was running low on lapto...

So I decided to give Marisa a rest and try Sakuya for a while, since I haven't played as her in ages... this is literally the first attempt I made of this fight with Sakuya, and... just watch. Some derpy deaths near the end, but still pretty good.

This is the footage of my first legitimate, exploit-free kill of Utsuho. I'm pretty happy with my performance, given that I sat down to try and fight her again after not touching Touhou 11 for a month, and beat her on my sixth try.

I didn't beat the Illusionary Princess card here, but I have beaten it since I last uploaded a replay, but now I've figured out the best way to get through it (which I mess up at the end, killing me). The best part of this run was my capture of the Youkai Laser card, which has always given me trouble in the past. Fight with Ran starts at 3:24

Why is the audio so freaking delayed from the video?
It really annoys me that you can't get the frog, because the cutscene is being triggered earlier, so you can only save after the battle. Did they put the frog too far by an accident?

Honestly my favorite boss of the game, I love the background, the theme, his attacks, the way he jumps at you in the start of the battle, the challenge and the fact he can use PK Love. Peak boss design

this boss is insane, claus really did become very powerful like he said lol. edit: in my opinion this boss is harder than the final boss from mother 1 2 and this game's final boss.

I tried to make Boney sniff the masked man since I thought his scent would be familiar to Boney, but he didn’t smell anything.

@WOLFM0THER Boney grew up with Claus and as a Dog has a great sense of smell. For them to erase his scent, would imply that they removed everything identifiable from his body. If not his entire flesh.

I don't recall exactly why, but upon consulting the wiki it is likely that he was wearing the Knit Sweater, which gives slight regeneration of health

Wouldn't it be crazy I'd the masked man was Claus
So not only is the masked man fast and goes first basically every turn, he can also attack twice in one turn, has a melee attack, a sword attack, a beam attack, electric attacks that go through shields, a sheild killer move to stop you from buffing your defenses, and access to one of the strongest PSI moves in the game which causes massive damage on all your party members... Oh also a one hit KO lighting bolt attack just in case you though he was too underpowered. Oh yeah he also has no specific elememtal weaknesses (eventhough hes clearly mechanical so PK Thunder should in theory atleast be a go to attack against him) a butt ton of HP and can't be put to sleep and the music in his boss battle is almost impossible to combo to.
It's bad, but not *that* bad. He doesn't always go first if your party is leveled high enough. His music theme also isn't that hard to combo with. As long as you can combo to the easier version of this theme, it's just a matter of skipping like half a beat.

Ramblings of Ruethus yeah but if you can beat Masked Man at level 35 I can totally beat masked man at level 50! I just gonna do what you do
@@acidicali7776 My strategy is to use omega defense and offense boosts for my team through Lucas, and have kumatora lower the masked man's defense while duster combos + occasionally uses tickle stick or scary mask, and have boney use bombs and heal

Because I don't grind, and suffer because of it. This fight took many, many attempts. I also ran past a lot of enemies.

I have like LV 45 people and I lost a bajillion times
I was at level 60
@@ramblingsofruethus6474 I would recommend not running from enemies unless you need to. I ended up making Suits way too easy because I fought every enemy.
