    first two weeks for me were torture, i couldn’t even move and felt so so sick. possibly caused by concussion or nerve damage? docs cant tell, all i know is i hit my head and now we ringing baby haha, anyways i have just accepted that this is my life now (this helped so much), and as i did that, all of my physical symptoms went away anf the ringing is SO much quieter. i have accepted that it may be forever, if it goes away, cool.. but i actually have been able to see that managing stress and keeping busy/active are the key.. this seems like a win/win.. stay positive, and if you are having it bad right now.. just RELAXxxxx, atop thinking, just stop, breathe, settle into your body and MOVE it, i promise you, that will make it better and managable, never thought i would say that a week ago i promise you, it may take a few mins or hours but you got this.. also stick to vids like this and stay off of the negative online forums, it is linked immediately to stress and gets better w positivity

      Try more movement during the day, let your body expend as much energy as possible so that it's actually tired. Set aside thirty minutes before your 'sleep deadline'. Use the first fifteen minutes to do some static stretching, breathe deeply, try to relax tense muscles. The second fifteen minute chunk I like to fill with reading fiction while lying in bed. It helps my mind relax and drift off to sleep. I hope this helps!

    You're on the right track. Shoot for one years expenses in your emergency fund. Sounds crazy but why not set a big goal. Car repairs short of an engine or transmission shouldn't be considered emergencies. 1k cash or a credit card should cover anything immediate. Beyond that, I would consider precious metals or a stock like JEPI. An account with a solid company like Vaulted sets the money where you won't spend it or JEPI offers a 7% dividend. Both can be in your bank acct. in a few days when needed and offer an inflation hedge with growth potential while having little downside risk. Cheers!

    • @lukehasideas
      @lukehasideas 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for advice! Agreed, the basic car stuff doesn't constitute an emergency. We're looking at a mixture of short term TBills and municipals for the first $10k, definitely going to extend that to a year's expenses over the next few years.

      @adnanzia9167 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@lukehasideas The fact you said in your video certain foods make it worse is also true that if you take your whole eating life seriously, the body will heal. Another rule of thumb is that if you felt an improvement whilst eating healthy then there is no reason you can reduce it further and further until it goes away. It was very hard especially seeing people on the internet habituating or trying to cope but not me. I was willing to anything to cure it. I am studying my MD and during one of lectureres we talked about autophagy, allowing the body to heal. So along with Liam Boehms advice, so this is what I did every dayand there are no if or but's, you want to get rid if it then do this, Every day you must sleep early (switch of your mobile wifi and router at night), switched of my mobile phone and left it on a table away from me. Breakfast, around 3 fried eggs with runny yellow, also around 8 pieces of beef liver(do not over cook, so it is soft) cooked lightly in olive oil. It has very potent in B vitamins, also A, D, C and E and other amazing vitamins and minerals, perfect for healing the brain. before lunch time make you sure you have drank around half litre of water but not from tap. Lunch time, grilled salmon and lamb chops, just what your comfortable eating and dinner time or last meal, more meat, you can have chicken again grilled, even cooked with skin so it id not dry. You can even have steak with fat on it as fat is good for the brain. During this time do some exercises, running, going to the gym etc, getting sunlight. I repeat do not put anything on food and eat absolute nothing else. If you must have some vegetables have a little of baked potato. Food will be bland, no salt, chillis, mayo or any other food items. Just stick to what I have told you, do this for a few weeks and then on Monday morning do not eat or drink anything until 6pm. Also do not eat at least 3 hours before bed. You will struggle if you cannot resist but for me, I was willing to try anything, in 3 months, noise got less, in the morning I woke up myself and it was not the noise. It was unbelieveable, then a few minutes of waking up, it would start again but not as heavy. The fact that I heard pure silence for a 30 seconds or so made me soooo happy, and my family was happy. As you improve, it may get louder then move around in your head, almost like its bouncing around in different parts of the brain inside. Spoke to Liam about this and said it was a sign it was improving, because any change means its cureable, at this point my hyperaccusis had gone. However there was a point, where I started ate a bit of junk food and it came back not as loud though, so I continued and then went away. I cannot express how happy I was, all those people who say you cannot get rid if it, cannot change their habbits or do not realise the foods we eat cause inflammation in the brain. Now it is gone, I went heavy stopped absolutely everything and yeah, here I am so happy. When it goes away or you literally do not hear it anymore, just keep at it for another 6 months, the fact it has gone dramatically reduced is a clear indicator it is cureable. Any questions let me know, and I know for sure you will cure it without doubt

  • @jorgechamorroguitar

    I have mild tinnitus but no hearing loss apparently. It's ok now, but I don't want to make it worse. Did you avoid any loud environments like concerts? Did you ever use ear protection at the gym? I've stopped going to the gym for now, thinking about bringing ear plugs or ear muffs

    • @lukehasideas
      @lukehasideas หลายเดือนก่อน

      I've avoided loud exposure to some extent: Construction zones, concerts, fire alarms get an instant ear covering, etc. Ear protection is a must in appropriate cases: Using firearms, at the gym if you feel the clank of weights is too sharp and loud, drumming, and in most work meetings (satire, but would improve lifestyle happiness for sure). When in doubt, use the earplugs. Don't let anyone shame you for it, you'll be the one with hearing late in life.

    Your story is my story. I avoid alcohol and other sugars. I drink decaf and eat better snacks... like unsalted almonds (2 pounds for 10 bucks at Costco). Tumeric tea is good too. Bottom line, anti-inflammatorys, good... inflammatorys and diuretics, bad!! Hearing aids are a must, as well. $1500 at Costco. Before the diet change, it was like the emergency broadcast tone in my right ear. Today, it's a faint dog whistle in the left ear and a low refrigerator hum in the right. I sleep like a baby to it and if it ever goes away, I'll kind of miss it!! It's been with me for so long, it's part of me!

      It's a part of me too, for sure! I wonder if I'd feel paranoid if it mysteriously disappeared one day, ha. I'll look into hearing aid options, thank you for sharing your story!

    *😎🇮🇳✝️I had tinnitus for 20 years and have taken Dorn Therapy treatment. In one sitting I was cured. Cervical spine misalignment was the cause. 💐👍🙏*

      I have all sorts of issues with my cervical spine, so maybe there's something in that. I also drink a lot of coffee and get no exercise 😞

      I hope it gets better for you! Don't underestimate getting a box fan: Setting it up in the corner of a room might bring you some peace.

      Being easy to work around probably translates into lots of social skills that people can use daily.
