Watching this show in 2024, I was a kid in 1971, didn’t care about comedy back then, great show

Ted walks in with his " Puppet, Fuzzy". Ted, demonstraits his act, & says : " This is Ted Baxter and Fuzzy saying Good night & Good News"...Mr. Grant walks in & says to : Fuzzy : You're hired" turns to Ted, & says " You're fired" as he grabs Fuzzy's head and smiles :)

I don't understand: all the endings of the show are cut out, but the opening song is there at the beginning of each episode!

Who would have thought that this American CBS classic would turn every attractive business woman into a boss bitch in and out of the office! This show single handedly destroyed the dating scene, marriage, family and relationships in America! Sad but true! All because she got a job and made a few dollars!

2:47:50 Walter Cronkite (born 1916 ~ died 2009). It's cool that he appeared on the MTM Show. My family and I regularly watched him. What an incredible life... he witnessed many and reported on the most important events of the 20th century.

Terrific directing, writing; acting, costumes, content, etc. An all around great show.

At " Twinks'" Wedding...mary stated after, she & Rhoda arrived back to the apartment...." the viciousness, was all of those girls, trying to catch the bouguet" Rhoda pulled it out from behind her dress and said .." Not as good as me: ! ..lol

This next part, is about " Meetings, on Tuesday evenings, and so forth. At the End , .. Ted takes out, "Fluffy " , his Puppet Puppy dog. As he demonstrates, how he speaks, as a ventrilquist ...to Mary, & Murray, he says "( using Fluffy as his spokes-puppet,) saying " this is Ted Baxter, & Fluffy, bringing you the news". Mr. Grant, walks in, & says to Ted , as Lou, points to " Fluffy "...." you're hired, you're fired, to Ted! ... meaning that " He Preferred " Fluffy to Ted ..lol :)

Lou Grant ..aka Mr. Grant, pulled off the " Notice for an Assistant Producer" off of the " Jobs Board " in which Mary is paid less, than what this other show is offering; saying" ITS BEEN FILLED " .... Mary smiles at Mr. Grant & that's the end :)

At this part when Ted, receives his $1 Bill, in the envelope, he forgeot to add a Stamp to his Envelope. Thereby returning it for " Postage Due" as Mary informs him... he walks away happy as ever ..because he's " TED" ! Enjoy :)

Even without Rhoda this show was still brilliant, the writing and acting were spectacular.

This is the best show. Great way to spend a lazy weekend.

When is the video going to be in sync with audio? How long? It’s a bad look. At least, have the right titles with each video. Bad look. Amateurish!

You obviously have no experience in storytelling. You cut the end of the show which is that not only the conclusion, the resolution to the conflict but it is also usually the best joke. Don't leave your viewers frustrated and angry. Do some proper editing you don't need the credits but you do need the final scene in its complete form Shape Up!
