Maybe if you could hit him with the eml i remember in ace combat 4 when you first encounter yellow squadron even when you shot them you would get a hit indicator but couldnt kill them but later i found out you can but it takes like 20 damn missles just to kill one su37 yellow fighter talk about a pain in the ass

Right as I heard “I’m against an Su-30, Orange Wing Tips.” I immediately went full throttle yelling “Hold on, I’m coming!” knowing exactly who was there, I sped my plane up to its limits in my F-22 Raptor, But it was already too late, I heard her scream and her plane fell from the skies as I yelled “No!, I couldn’t save you in time!, Please forgive me!” I tried many times to save her but no avail..

Man I miss this game, many hours were spent

If this was real it would haunt me for the rest of my life. Firstly I am always naturally more protective of women. But the thing that would get me the most is my friend was in danger, fearing that she is in real danger of death and the last thing she says is "Mage 2, Support". The idea that the last thing a friend who thought she was going to die did was call out to me to help her, and I failed, would haunt me forever. It is a shame that the game developers don't include a way to save her. It isnt like her death is integral to the plot. They could easily have you damage her attacker before the kill meaning she only ends up crashing in her damaged plane but surviving.
