I'm 72 and was in love with Davy Jones. I miss him so much. The Monkees are and always will be my number 1 band. Miss all of them. Mickey is still going as far as I know . I saw Davy in Cincinnati Ohio, in blue ash. I couldn't get close enough.

I love the song "She's in My Blood," and "Affirmation," wow. He hangs out on the backbeat and his music really moves, and moves me. Having fought in Iraq, I especially liked the last song, and agree. Not too many people at that time had the nerve to criticize the war. Please post the rest of the video if there is more. This was truly an incredible performance.

He wanted to be and was somewhat taken seriously as a rocker. More like Rick Springfield successfully made the transition from actor/pinup to legit musician

He looked very very healthy here - no way was he boozing or drugging at this time - he looks clean and sober - shame what happened to him - David and Peter Noone and Davy Jones all retained their youthful good looks well into their 50's and 60's -- amazing -- RIP

Davy was 63 here - he looks way way younger then his age -- he had so much vitality, energy - poor guy had severely clogged cardiac arteries but did not know it - he really loved fans and he was a great people person who just enjoyed peoples company -- he was an everyman with great talent, charisma and was compelling - taken way too soon -- shame -- God Bless Davy may he RIP

It was a little jarring to hear him say jokes about a coronary his little heart pounding, knowing now he would leave us with a massive heart attack. A few months before he died, he came to a casino near me and my friends and I didn't go I regret it still to this day. A lesson here is jump at the chance because we don't know how much time we all have .Live life to the fullest while you can.

No matter what I am doing here I always ended up watching & listening to David 😍 He is and will be forever the one 💗💕

Peter, who played at least 11 instruments and wrote a symphony which an orchestra played, was amazed at how effortlessly Davy picked up instruments. He played percussion, drums, bass and organ.
