[Low views] Raptor Coat with a ROLLER!? Repainting my WHOLE CAR for under $500
With the Forester now mechanically refreshed, lifted and sounding great, the bodywork has become its weakest asset, and it needs repainting. The aftermath of my primer-grey experiment a couple years ago has come back to haunt me in the form of a surface finish that would typically need sanding back to bare metal for a good result. Luckily, Raptor Liner exists, and its thick, textured finish simply doesn't care if there's imperfections on the panels underneath. Normally applied with a spray gun in a booth, I decided to try a more DIY approach and apply it by hand in my garage with nothing but a paint roller... it took a while.

[Low views] How to make your Subaru sound MORE SUBARU
มุมมอง 4082 หลายเดือนก่อน
In Episode 3 of Project 4X4ESTER, we're getting well underway with the mods. I fit new headers from Empire Performance and re-work the rest of the exhaust system while I'm at it. But being a daily driver, I need the inside of the car to sound good too, so I also install upgraded speakers, a subwoofer, CarPlay headunit and some sound deadening. And it wouldn't be one of my projects without a bit...
Budget Forester gets LIFTED! 2” Subaru Lift Kit Installation
มุมมอง 1.9K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
My cheap go-anywhere Forester build continues with the installation of a 2" Lift Kit from HRG Offroad, which uses a similar design to SubieLiftOz. After successfully repairing all the issues with the car and getting it re-registered, it's time to indulge in some mods - and I'm starting with possibly the most defining one on the list. The installation process in this video is virtually identical...
[Low views] Saving a neglected Subaru destined for the junkyard
มุมมอง 6816 หลายเดือนก่อน
I've gotten my old Foz back, but it's not exactly how I remember it. After being battered around for a couple of years with almost no maintenance, the repair bill has it destined for the scrapyard with a conservative estimate of nearly $6000. $6000 is the mechanic's price anyway, and I know I can get it done for a lot cheaper myself if I set aside some time for it. But that's just to get it dri...
Trying Alcantara WRAP - is it as bad as they say?
มุมมอง 12K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
Alcant-ERA popped up on my radar a few months ago with their adhesive suede interior wrap through some viral Instagram posts. But what a lot of us viewers noticed was the rushed nature of their demonstration videos which seemed to undersell the wrap itself. Despite this, I was super interested in the idea of a self-adhesive suede wrap and wanted to try it for myself, in the hope that the produc...
BI-XENON PROJECTOR Headlight Upgrade - E39 BMW 5 Series (Retrofit Lab Kit)
มุมมอง 10K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is a DIY guide to installing Retrofit Lab's Bi-Xenon kit for the E39 BMW 5 Series (facelift). The projector lenses in these old BMWs commonly develop internal fog which greatly reduces their light output. This video applies to OEM Hella halogen headlights for facelift E39 models between 2000 and 2002. Factory xenon headlights have a different installation process - this video is for haloge...
$80 LED taillights BUILT FROM SCRATCH (E39 BMW 5 Series)
มุมมอง 4.3Kปีที่แล้ว
In this video I take an L and spend 80 hours (and $80) building LED taillights for my 5 Series that ended up with a few annoying problems that render them pretty much useless. But despite this, I still vouch for this as a project and I reckon on the right car it could be really successful. You could also build these with a diffuser lens over the bulbs for a more even light output, but I wanted ...

Building a DIY DETAILING STORAGE SETUP
มุมมอง 538ปีที่แล้ว
The storage method for my work van was in desperate need of a refresh, so I started from scratch by building this easily removable storage caddy. It fits everything I need on a daily basis, while also organising and securing everything so it doesn't slide around when driving. There's still a few finishing touches to be made in the near future, but it's a massive improvement nonetheless.
Don't try to fix an LCD screen like this (piezo ignitor test)
มุมมอง 7Kปีที่แล้ว
After seeing a very sus repair video do the rounds online, I had to try this one for myself. Like a lot of BMWs from the era, my E39 has lost most of the pixels on the dashboard LCD over time, and I've made repairing it one of the last things on my list for the car due to the expense and effort required. But for $13, I thought this was worth a shot in the meantime. Of course, attempt this at yo...
Wheel melted in CAR FIRE turned into art
มุมมอง 188ปีที่แล้ว
This is a solid piece of Aluminium I found on an off road trip in the Central Coast of NSW. It's the remains of an Aluminium wheel that melted in a car fire out in the bush. In this video, I make a simple display for it to turn this piece of scrap into a point of conversation.

Can someone share an opinion on this after months/years of use? How does the suede look and the adhesive behaves?
Great work. I’m gathering ideas for my 73 Maverick. I have a basic on electronics, but do you think led strips that cut to fit would work?
LED strips are probably the most common choice for custom taillights, I just used individual bulbs because I wanted the matrix bulb look 👍
@ my original plan was to build a board for LEDs like you did so I can program it to spell out F**k you haha. But I need something easy first since I did a body swap on a 04 mustang and of course I need custom lights. It’s an awesome build, I’m not a TH-camr but made a few videos. Thanks for the info.
oh my
That other place u suggest only us for Australia not USA

Would u be able to make some for some American force wheels?
6 months have passed! How does it hold?
I second this question! @OEMStez
he updated it in the description, nothing wrong w the wrap
Top quality job, not only on the foz but also your videography and editing skills.
cant wait for next video! 💪
Won’t be too long 😁😁
NICE!!!! Love how it turned out!!! wish I still had my one! 🥲
Lovely ending, keen for the next ones.
No need to add hardener for the base coat tint with the Raptor... only needs the Raptor hardener.
Shop advised me otherwise so was just playing it safe
Nice build, looking forward to the next episode.
6 months. Where’s the update 👀
In the description 👆👆
6 Months later, when's the update going to drop?
If you mean the Alcantara wrap I’ve added it to the description 👍
"dont kick ya car" cracked me up xD
Should it work on actual headliner? I’m thinking it should with some contact cement
I’m curious to try it on a headliner, the adhesive feels pretty good but in Australia the roof takes a huge amount of heat so I’m not sure how long it would actually last
Hey, are you making for other people and other vehicles? If so, I have some for my truck.
diverge3d.com.au/pages/get-a-quote Get in touch with me here and I can help you out 👍
plot twist, there are some e39 headlights that are "permasealed" with some other kind of seal, not butil rubber, and only way to open them is to either cut the glass or to cut the corpus. I think the permasealed ones was post 2001 but im not pretty sure, if someone knows better let me know
Unfortunately yes, that’s why I’ve only put 2000-2002 as the year range in the thumbnail, 2002-2004 is permasealed from what I know
Do the backup camera still works?
How did you make the mold bro?
Keep it up mate. Waiting for mine so dying to see how they are now. Subscribed
Hello you have Instagram account for follow the fozzie
found 3m3 of this on temu for 10 bucks

This only works reliably and safely on TFT type displays
i like your vidéo Bro
✌️
Ohhh yeahhh , you pay to much , i buy same product on rol without damage or plies in it , i pay 13 euro for 40cm X 140 Cm and free shiping and no tax on Temu , and kwality looks even better , i found on local store the exact same product for sale for 42 euro , and i talk to them about it , and have to admid they have bean abusing the prices and buy it for even less for there amount of order , and told me they pay for 1,30 euro the rol , so be ware where you buy , and even on temu you can buy it for even less or more , but don't think you get better , concurence is huge there and some can be going for the smallest marge of winst , thats diference with us western comunity , they make money with labour of the chinese poeples , so today , we produce nothing anymore , cos we are so expensive in compaire , china is much to strong for us , and have very good builds since the days we remembering the poor qualities long time ago , and we have to admit it , they make the world better , they feed the hole world , we all depend on them today , yeah it is dificult to accept but we cant stare blind and ignore it , but don't forget ; on day we will be in there before shoes , we would like them have to fight to survive or to afford better life , and i know that they know what we know , so they take everything in considerence and stay as quite as they can to let the bussiness going a while , they are very smart peoples not to compaire with the Nord Korean or Russian atitude , much smarter and i love that and take my head off for that , Respect is the best of reactions ;-) thanks for the vidéo and remember what i told and sorry for my poor english Wrights, ejoy you self douings cos what you made yourself ,is always better done and with love and passion you get there ones or next time , don't let hangon after one failing , keep continuing folks and enjoy your doings , very important , also to claim out owner weakness , i believe thats it , Carl from Belgium Flanders ;-)
what size of the wheel cap
67mm bro
I dig that. Like your design!
BRUH sick video! Honestly they need to give you some commission lol, because of your detailed video I'm about to buy the product lol. Keep up the good work!
Maybe one day 😂
Nicely done 👍thnx for sharing.
Great video
That is beast
Looking great it’s coming together.
Awesome! Builds coming along well! I've gotta get my hands on some empire performance UEL headers!
Very nice bro , you have them for sell

When painting yiur parts you should def sand and wipe with solvent then use 2 coats of primer even if you paint has primer in it then do way lighter coats . Like 3. Then use a high quality finish clear coat
You should take the time ti do research . Cause using spray adhesive if dine correctly and if you use the correct stuff you would get better results . With the spray adhesive you need ti spray both parts and let tack up b4 applying g fabric
Did all of this and still had poor results
Brilliant do you make Ford ones please
Could I purchase a set of these from you ?
Link in description 🤝
Does the make the cap stick out a bit ?
Not really, maybe 1mm more than a regular badge - they’re available on my website via the link in the description
@@OEMStez what if I need them for a different wheel not a bmw could I give you the measurements and you print me up what I need ?
@@OEMStez I’ve emailed you about getting a set of these and didn’t get a response ??
Hey, I can’t see anything from you in my Inbox. Generally I don’t design alternate versions for other cars as it almost always needs adjustment to fit properly which makes it get very expensive for the person interested - hope you understand 🙏
great job where is v2 :) your site is not working
Coming soon - website getting a makeover
Nice! What's the exhaust tip size?
This is very useful to know for those wanting to do diy. Thank you. Plasti dip might be better then to do it alone at home...😢
I did another project where I used the right type of clearcoat for the base coat and had a much better result - have a look for my Work Van Transformation video
I would love some of them do you sell them
