Isn’t it like God when we just keep showing up when it’s hard and we don’t feel like we’ve got anything left that the Almighty, all powerful, holy, miraculous, wonderful God steps into the room? I put my foot down. I refuse to let my circumstances and emotions dictate the way I model worship for Elisha. If I would have let the raging hell that wanted to come up against me this week keep me down and distracted, who knows if Elisha would have had the moment He needed with Jesus. Maybe it’s not always about what I need, but about what the generations behind me need also.
