Probably one of the best pieces from C.F. Abel, Andante from the Drexel Manuscript.
A piece of such an amazing atmosphere. Abel must have been emotionally touched, playing and composing it.
A huge thanks to Paola Fornasari for giving us this amazing chance to present our Italian-premiere 'Galanterie' for the Accademia Kairos Festival, in the marvelous Sala Maffeiana (Accademia Filarmonica, Verona) on the 15/12/2023.

Awesome music - just what one expects from a band of extraordinarily gifted musicians! Love the surprise moments, the range of sounds and many other aspects. My favorite part is the duett of the bowed instruments. What I am missing compared to Youliska eg is looking at you guys. Even if the visual parts are beautiful (landscapes in Switzerland or Norway?) and the intro, the candle scene, is very professionally done. Thanks a lot for another great post!
