2016 Kawasaki Ninja zx6r M4 GP exhaust no baffle
มุมมอง 50K7 ปีที่แล้ว
I removed the baffle that came with my M4 GP slipon exhaust. As recommended by 345Hemi/636Ninja. I used Snap ring pliers to remove the baffle. I also used painters tape inside exhaust to prevent scratching. It was a pain in the ass to remove the snap ring. But well worth the sound. The bike is revved at 4000 rpm then at 6000rpm and once at 12000rpm. So there was still more to go but I didn't wa...
2016 Kawasaki Ninja zx6r 636 no muffler

Short clip of what it sounds like when you remove the muffler. Prechamber box (often mistaken for the Cat) is still hooked up as you can see in the video. If you are on a budget and just want it louder. Radiant cycle makes a shorty pipe that hooks up to the prechamber.
2016 Kawasaki Ninja zx6r M4 GP exhaust cold start

I couldn't find any videos of a 2016. 2013-2016 same bike tho. So here is mine. Bike has been stored over winter. Starting the bike for the first time with M4's GP exhaust. The Baffle is still installed. Check out my other video to hear it without it.

My Brothers
I have a 2014 636 with cat delete and m4 slip on. How did you remove the baffle? I can't seem to figure it out.
You will need a pair of Snap Ring pliers to remove the baffle . It it held in by a snap ring. And tape the inside of the exhaust so you don't scratch it up
@@alexp9180 Great! thank you very much. Earned a sub 👍
i got the same exact bike model and trim, 6800 miles second owner! it’s an amazing machine
What’s the baffle do?
It reduces the sound
Amazing
Take that suppressor off the exhaust
Dam bro u ain’t rev it up🤦🏾♂️
it's a cold start why the hell would you rev it up with cold oil?
Waowww mantap. 👍🇮🇩
That thing sounds wicked af
I hate riding in the cold.
This is my dream bike. Having the m4 makes it near perfect in my eyes. 🥰😍😎
@@Hades-Sired sure i do. Its just my opinion that m4 seems like it was specifically designed for the ninja (zx6r/zx10r). Im sure it wasn't but they just go together so well. Not just sound but the low profile too.
@@Hades-Sired if you get a slip on, you wont need to dyno-tune it. If you get a full exhaust system, then you will. You wont need a full exhaust system. 😷🏍💨👍
@@Hades-Sired no problem. Ride safe and have fun my friend. 😷🏍💨👍
@@Hades-Sired in my opinion, and many experienced riders you will see on here, getting a full exhaust system is unnecessarily expensive and impractical. You will already be able to keep up with most high end super cars. The extra hp a full system guves you, you likely wont ever use.
What did you do about the servo
I bought a Servo Buddy and removed the factory servo
Yea I removed it and have the light lol I guess I’ll do the ecu flash from Blackbeard
Loving the KRT Zx6r 😍
Is the smoke at first normal?
Dustin Dreager yeah. When it’s cold out almost every bike will smoke like that.
Just condensation from inside the pipe being steamed off from heat
I love my ninja
hey man ! we have the same great looking bike! is this the full exhaust system or only the slipon?
roch lanteigne it's only a slip on
Hard4u2breathe wow! just the slip on and it sounds that great, can’t wait to see what the full system will sound like on mine! .. the only thing my bike is brand new i just got it 2 weeks ago, motor is not even breaking in yet. not sure if i should wait to at least 1000km before upgrading the exhaust
Hard4u2breathe how loud is it? can people you a mile away when you go high in the rpm range? even in town you must get a lot of attention
where did you get it from? I have the same bike and have been looking for one, but everywhere Ive seen it says its not compatible with a 2016
Justin Grayson most websites will advertise that it is compatible 2013-2015...but it will actually fit 2013-2018. I live in Canada and got it from a local shop. You can try www.sportbiketrackgear.com/m4-kawasaki-zx-6r-636-13-17-gp-mount-slip-on-exhaust/
I'm a Kawasaki boy myself Love ❤️ your Kawasaki Zx6r brother is it the KRT Edition? I myself have had two Kawasaki Zx6r's a 2010 and 2011 I have great memories with both!! I also fitted the M4 GP on both of them it's a fantastic exhaust for the Zx6r although since I sold my last ninja the 2010 18 months ago if I'm honest I think i actually prefer the street slayer now as opposed to the GP but your bike is stunning bro 😍Adam 🇬🇧
Full exhaust or just slip on
Slip-on
Real clean looking Zx6r bro and with the M4 Gp 👌 I had this exhaust on both my 2010 and 2011 Zx6r awesome 🎶
is it slip on or 3/4 system ??
Akun Baru slip on
Yo where this love them twisty
La moto va meglio con lo scarico originale oppure con m4?Ora ha bisogno di una centralina oppure va già bene così?Grazie
i want to try to make mine alittle quieter because ive got complaints about my exhaust buy people that have straight pipe harleys
Its funny how people complain about a sport bike with aftermarket exhaust because its "too loud" yet nobody says anything about the loud Harleys roaring down the street.
man i wonder why mine is soo much louder! no baffle and it hurts your ears at stop lights! all i have is a gsxr 600
sinister slim did you remove the catalytic converter? Pre-chamber box?
Hard4u2breathe where would it be located
if you have a facebook look up bearded bikers!
I hope u get this. Did u flash your ecu or get a power commander? Plz
ninja_ 3hundred no power Commander. I will get it eventually
if you take the baffle out you'll have a much better sound I have a couple vids on my page if you'd like to hear
345Hemi/636Ninja how do I remove it? I never ordered one?
Hard4u2breathe the baffle already comes installed. It is really hard to remove. You need a pair of needle nose pliers to stick in and compress the clamp ring that's holding the baffle in. You need to compress the clamp fully and then pull it out then the baffle will easily come out
345Hemi/636Ninja thanks!
Hard4u2breathe is it just the slip on? and how much did you pay for it
@@rochlanteigne5877 most likey around 400 like 350 plus tax. if its a real one that is. Totally worth it for the real one. sounds fucking awesome
do you tune the bike after you put the m4 slip on ?
Felix Lefebvre not yet
