Knocking on heaven’s door after work!
I rushed home from work so that I could squeeze a short flight in before the thermals picked up. I was fortunate that the clouds opened up and I was able to climb above them. It was EPIC! Here are some of the highlights from the flight.

Flying Solo and following Captain Ron (Don)

Flying down in Lewes, DE and met up with the famous Captain Ron (Don). He followed me down along Cape Henlopen until I had to return to the airport due to low fuel. Got a chance to see the Lewes Fire Department fireboat as well. What camera do you use?
@@lukeroberts378 Hero 11. It’s usually mounted to my helmet but sometimes I move it around.
This is a aircraft made by a company called Pivotal, previously called Opener. Still in experimental stage. From what I hear, very difficult to fly

Beautiful. August is my favorite month for flying. Seems like the air finally settles down consistently around this time of year.

A guy in Morgan Hill CA committed suicide in one of those one day when I was on shift. He bailed out at altitude and went thud right on the sidewalk on a fairly busy street.
