Nagarjuna’s Precious Garland, 41: “The Mirage of Self-Existence”
Tibetan Buddhism Center for World Peace, December 22, 2024
*Study Guide: www.tbcwp.org/uploads/1/2/8/2/12826485/41-npg.pdf
Our ongoing study of the Buddhist model of the mind continues with a clear explanation by Khentrul Rinpoche of the process by which a mental consciousness is generated via the five aggregates. Nagarjuna’s “Precious Garland” continues with a presentation of how the appearance of true existence, like a mirage, disappears the more we investigate whether it actually exists.
*Links to mantras, Buddha-figures, texts, and guided visualization practices used in this series can be found at the end of the Study Guide above by clicking on the link.

🍂May the light in one's mind grow steadily brighter, the darkness of unknowingly be fearlessly removed. 🍂 🍂May the beauty of compassion find its place within, the mind's horizon forever expanding. 🍂 🍂May this be my greatest prayer, the wisdom flame be kindled for all.🍂 🍂A journey so irreversible may all find, till all reside simply in emptiness.🍂 🪷🌷🌺🌸🌼💐🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Interesting 👍
