It does impede airflow through the space between the cards and forces more airflow through the heat sinks of the cards. I tried it with and without them and had better temps with them in there. MotorCityMiner has these cards too and he has his airflow the opposite direction. I may try that out. I currently use two sets of fans in a push/pull set up. May spin the one set around and try just a pull setup

@ruskyscryptocave thanks for the reply! Makes total sense, sorry if it was a stupid question. I wasn't sure of the heatsink design. If you had free power what gpu would you buy in mass? I was looking at 6800, 6800xt, but maybe 7900xtx....

@@andrewjones198 I honestly don't a ton about AMD gpus. The last ones I had were 5700xts and they've been out of service for 6 months or so. From what I read and saw online, the 6600xt and 6700xt are the most efficient. Nvidia cards would be 3070s, these cmp100-210s and 170HXs

Make sure you are on the latest version of Zelcore and it will be there is you held flux in October of 2023

Me neither! I forgot that I can also claim my parallel assets from mining as well from running my Nimbus node. I may let that stack up until the end of the year. Probably going to be another 8-10 Flux in fees

that may work. I make sure to connect to the wifi network and use the internet while connected that way I know there's communication through Helium and I get rewarded for the data usage. I use the same phone for both my cell services so I don't want to flip back and forth between the two provider for text/call

I tried it out about a year ago and moved some rigs over from HiveOS. The automatic updating of miners is my favorite feature I think and custom placeholders come in handy and don't need a ton of flight sheets or miner profiles (mmpOS) especiaally when setting overclocks in the miner commands. Plus, it's cheaper as well. I did a comparison video a while ago on what it costs to run my farm on each. The longer I am with mmpOS, the greater my loyalty rewards are so it keeps getting cheaper to use

@@Mr12Chocolate after HIP 131, if you are in a boosted area, your hotspot needs to have a Helium Mobile plan device connect to it and verify it’s a legit hotspot. 2 of my 4 hotspots are like this do I subscribed to a plan and added a second number to my iPhone 14. Just the mapping rewards alone are going to pay for the plan plus now I get data rewards on the hotspot plus proof of coverage rewards.

I'm still on SOLO but the number of blocks has definitely decreased. My Luck is still under 100% so I'm going to keep going SOLO until it goes over 100%. Debating about the OC myself. Have not done it yet though, but I do have a 180w psu running it so have the room as far as power supply goes

Is it totally decentralized like if I was mining to my own nodes, no. It is using just my hashrate to solve blocks so still solo mining to me

I have some nerdminer and bitaxe running btc solo. Then I started with a ks0 pro mining kaspa solo as well as trying bugna (that worked well). At the weekend installed solo with doge and litecoin at a minidoge 3. nothing found on it yet. But it was nice as I found a pool with low ping that supports dual mining solo both coins.

Thank you! I'm a pretty laid back guy and not into all the drama BS. Not drilling holes is the whole reason I went with this set up. Not going to change the main mount. Possibly a taller pole but not sure yet

Don't want to drill in my roof either so staying with this general set up. I also have a MNTD and a Bobcat 300 IOT miners and was thinking of how to incorporate the 8 dbi antennae I have for those into this mount

My understanding is that it needs to be validated daily. I'll be doing a follow up video, but so far, the mapping rewards and the data rewards on my hotspots are going to more than cover the $20

No that was from running nodes. I had two or three cumulus nodes and then had enough to do a nimbus. Been running a nimbus for over a year now. Don’t claim them often because the fees are insane
