In 2020 I went to England with my BF to spend 10 days with his cousin who was stationed there. While over there we did a 4 day trip to Scotland. We got up very early to catch the plane to Scotland. By the time we got to our hotel we were all tired. The boys decided to Put on Escanaba in da Moonlight! 🤣. Of course we all were so tired we all passed out during so we had to watch it again before we looked for some food

Remnar Soady is a legend

To this day I will yell Kakowa KA TA! Just to wig people out. This scene rules so hard. I love that he can barely do the scene without laughing.

This was the first thing I ever saw Kate Beckinsale in and she's so good, I remember thinking "I hope she gets a lot more movies after this." She makes her lines here sound so easy and natural, like she's just speaking them off the top of her head.

That was such a romantic scene...till she said "Kill Claudio....".

My brother-in-law and his kids are avid hunters. Whenever I see them during hunting season, I accuse them of being "a buncha buckless yoopers". They haven't seen the movie and likely think I'm drunk or crazy, but man it amuses me to no end!

This movie and The Red Green Show were watched a lot during my childhood

I fondly remember the time seeing this film for the first time in a theater when it came out. It is a gem of a movie. Will always stay with me. These brilliant British actors. I was very excited many years later to visit the tuscan villa they shot the movie in. I hope cinema will one day get back to these heights.

My family has loved this movie for years and I will introduce to my children and future generations to the beauty of it as well.

Im not from Michigan but Minnesota and love deer hunting (rifle season). This movie gets me pumped up for it.
