He must be related to Shakira…. Cause those hips are immaculate 😂😂😂
ABSOLUTELY should be wearing at least a dust mask. That’s nasty stuff.
man you do some top notch work
very nice work
serious question. why couldn't you just put a full sheet up there and push it so it rests square against the valley, and then mark the hip with a pencil? so you would only have to cut the hip side, and the valley side would just be the factory edge. yes that would put the sheet at an angle. is that not okay to do for some reason?
very very nice
Amazing work. How did you get your start?
Are the floor tiles running on an angle?
Yes, it’s an offset tile.
Or, you could have chalked a line on the inside of the slab to hold the bottom plate off the outside edge just enough to compensate for the "fat" sections. I've taken that approach before, and it worked out just fine, no more than 7/16 +/- reveal. Once the sheathing and siding hoes on, you'll never see it.
There were very few fat places.
Hell yeah I didn't believe you until you showed it
It’s the best
Precision framing helps everyone down the line. Nicely done sir. I love zip system but if I was in any sort of area that got tornadoes or hurricanes then I'd personally lean towards 3/4" veneered. I accidentally dropped a stud on the 5/8 zip from 8-10' and it almost speared through the zip. Forced me to try it with some veneered and it didn't even leave a mark. They also claim that zip offers the same sheer strength but I don't see how that's possible. Still my favorite system and I've used it on everything for many years now.
Appreciate it boss!
Clean work man. Love to see someone who cares.
I appreciate that! Love what I get to do!

Did I tell you that I adopted your saying and now when I get something right I say to myself outloud, “Got it Coach!” 😜 Love your stuff! Thanks man!
Ha, love it! Thanks for watching
Nice work good job thank you
Thank you!
Beautiful coach
Thank you!
Looking tight as always Coach. Track saw for the win :)
🙏🏻 Every time!
A lil overkill with the track saw but cool
Never overkill. That cut is laser straight…just the way I like it
Miter is faster and looks the same.
Cuts like those I can usually forget trying to translate to the cut guy, I’ll come down and cut it! Those 5/8 red zips are nice though I think I gotta use that on the roof of my new garage vs 5/8 cdx 🤔
It’s the only thing I use. Lays Way flatter
The only thing zip is good for is drying in a building quickly because it's dimensionally stable when it's wet. Zip is not acceptable as a WRB.
Yup low quality osb
He does beautiful work though
@@katsulewis9703 some is good, some is tragic at best.
According to whom? 🤔
Spitting facts! Layout, layout, layout. I once renovated a townhouse, end unit, that was THREE INCHES out of square and 2-1/2 " OFF the foundation in the rear outside corner. Layout, layout, layout!
😬

Sh.. the builders where i am miss half there boards creates a headache when doing attic work
Imagine working with this dude every day. He’s always got such a great attitude and his skill is next level. If you’re ever in Florida, my man, I would like to work on a project together. It would make my day. I own a small construction company in Florida called James River Construction.
This is on a new build. Go do that on a re roof.
Way too much work. Hydro Blok is the way to go.
i coud build a house in 1 week in America😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Good thing those windows are UNDER the overhang
“Ona new home.” Alllat shit literally goes into the bin the nano second you and approximately eight dudes before you went 🤨😑
It’s common practice on my job site. I do it personally
lol uses a coping saw than busted out the Dremel 🤣🤡
🙄
This dude must practice the cheesey dj voice after work and on weekends
DJ at ur moms
that shit is going to delaminate within 20 years.... not a concern for most but i tear these out all the time
🙄 sure buddy. You won’t ever tear one out that I install!
How much flour did he blow on you?
Haha, a few cups!
Now the bottom is a 2 x 3
Whaaaa, no way. It’s 2x6 and I didn’t take any off the wood plate
you are going to have millions of nail going through anyways when you put the roof down
Those are cosmetic, I’m worried about the structural nails
Damn!
🤙🏻

Looks good but LP states in the directions do not miter corners and leave a 3/16 gap at all joints and fill the gap with sealant
I thought so too. It’s kind of misleading tho. They don’t want you to miter a full pc that butts another. They want that expansion gap and filled with sealant for movement. This application is fine. You can also miter around windows and doors. I specifically asked this question while I was at IBS in Vegas last year. They told me to keep on keeping on!
I would never waste time coping. Im a miter cut guy that knows what im doing.
🙄
@@w.k.d.constructionllc I see you looking up. I challenge you to do some trim work. You cope and ima miter..
Is it noisy with all the metal?
No, not at all. All the foam Insulation deadens the sound
bet that leaked with the first use.
Sure buddy
Yep saw steel used to make a large patio off of the suite of a 4bedroom 6 bathroom home and wow it made a significant difference! The install was premium which made the finish product look flawless. Everyone involved was proud of that work!
Steel reinforcement is where it’s at! 💪🏼
@@w.k.d.constructionllc It was impressive because of the length of the I Beams running through the home so there were no columns!
Why not use Schluter shelves? Look way better then that white brick
Looks better To whom?🤔
Put an AstroGlide dispenser in there
😳 haha
I just flip er over and cut a 15 degree angle for the profile on that particular base. Close enough. Caulk and roll. Too much else to get done.
