Kubota L245DT Cold Start. Will she fire up after a cold night in the woods?
Just a video for fun. 18F overnight temp, mid morning start attempt. I think ONE glow plug works so it starts pretty hard. This thing has been through a lot. I would guess about 3000-4000 hours with how beat up it is.

How to replace the rear right spark plug and wire on a 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado or Suburban
มุมมอง 28911 หลายเดือนก่อน
Replacing the #8 (rear passenger side) spark plug and wire. Had a heckuva time getting to it, thought I’d share my thoughts on doing it. I'm assuming this will work on all K2XX platform vehicles like the Suburban, Tahoe, Avalanche, GMC Sierra, Yukon, and Yukon XL. This may also work on GMT800 (1999-2006), GMT900 (2007-2013), and T1XX (2019-) trucks and SUVs.
Chevy Bolt Steering Clunk FIXED
มุมมอง 1.4Kปีที่แล้ว
I was ready to drop the entire subframe to remove the steering rack when someone in my Bolt facebook group suggested this. Tightened a bolt up on the steering coupler / u-joint and that saved me from needlessly replacing tie rod ends and steering rack and pinions. This fixed a common “clunking” or rattling noise in the front end.

OK, this works better. Get an old code reader that is not for hybrid or electric. About $20, it will reset all your codes.
Good luck with that.
I need to do this,
I am not a GM dealer. I bought a subscription to SPS2, but when I click on the add car vin button, I am asked for a GlobalConnect account. If possible, can you tell me what to do?
Interesting. It’s been over a year since I’ve used SPS2. Is it just asking you to log into your TSD account? I’ve always launched SPS2 from the ACDelco website.
@utjay2008 no, I'm being asked to log into a GlobalConnect account that I don't have.
Whats it like 4 years later?
Do you have an ospho update?
Just saw this. Let me check my shop for that old hitch. I did that same process on a friends trailer up in Michigan. That was about 4 years ago. Sits outside in the worst conditions. It’s holding up like new. I’ll grab some pictures of that next time I’m around there.
Useful video
Glad to hear it!
Who is the engineer in the video? looks familiar
That line went to Newark if i remember correctly but Ashland Railway took it over after most of it was abandoned past a certain point.
I worked for CSX 1998 to 2012 worked 10 years out of Garrett, IN. Went to Willard Yard alot.
I had a power outage and my volt was plugged In when it happend and bow I'm dealing with this issue.
Wild! First I’ve heard of it. Perhaps it’s a coincidence? But I don’t usually believe in coincidences.
This is exactly the video I needed. I can't thank you enough. I am taking one seat off also. I want to camp by myself and a narrow inflatable bed takes the space of one seat for the feet.without the seat the bed fits perfectly. Thank you!
Glad it helped! Love hearing this…
where do you download GDS2 without having to pay???
If you have a VCX Nano, you should be able to get it from their site. It’s such a pain. I’ve been meaning to do a video on it for a while.
What yard is this? Awesome video.
Willard Ohio as far as I know.
So i just replace the sensor and the high voltage code will go away? 🧐
Nope. The sensor needs replaced then the code can be reset IF the code popped due to a bad sensor.
Crazy to see this on unedited VHF! Thank you for sharing!
another trick i got from onstar operator - basically she says try walking with the keyfob at least 100 feet away from vehicle for 10 mins - then come back and start the vehicle - the warning will go away too - so you can drive your vehicle again - but she also added that you still need to check in with dealer later on - as this trick only let you drive your car for a few hours until the warning pops up again - surely you can repeat the 'walk away and wait up' trick as many times - but dealer should be able to decipher the issue at a better rate -
I’d have to see a video of that working. That would be crazy!
The topscan scanner works great for clearing SHVCS codes but it doesn't do the reprogram. I did a reprogram with vcx nano a while back but codes eventually came back if I let the battery run out. The vcx nano software is a pain.
Thanks!!
Glad you found it helpful!
Крууто, моя мечта полетать на таком самолёте😊
I went to GM Delco and bought the PSP2 ($40 for 2 years programming package), not the GDS2 ($69 for 3 days diagnostic and programming pkg.) and did this yesterday. I made sure coolant topped up. First I programmed BECM and then HPCM2 modules and used PSP2 to clear the DTCs. It's too bad I couldn't see the source of the DTCs only partially visible through my cheap ODB2 scanner, which would have been nice. I can't seem to get the GDS2 license that came with the VCX Nano to work correctly. So far after one day there has been no return of the "Service High Voltage Charging" warning. Thanks again for the video that inspired me to try this, it saved me a couple of two-hour drives into Portland plus dealership programming costs, plus now I know more than I did before.
Glad to hear! That’s why I put these videos up!
I see the tail of a b-24 or 25 in the backround along with a b-29
Good eye! A B-24 iirc and B-29 “Fifi”.
Remember the good old days how they were hard but true..❤❤❤❤😅
That’s why we do this once a year to remember
Thank you very helpful. Bought the tool started the relearn processes on my 2017 Bolt started with left front tire after that front right tire. On to Right back tire but does beep tried at various spots base of the valve etc. no matter what i did it did not work and process times out now all the tires do not show any reading. I tried same processes on my 2019 Bolt. Same results front two tires I get the honks but on right back tire it does not honk and times out. Any idea what is going on here
That’s really weird. I have a bolt EUV too. Winter tires are getting mounted this week (or next). I’ll try it then. Only thing I can think is that both sets of tires have bad TPMS sensors? But that’s a HECK of a coincidence and I don’t really believe in those.
Seen lots of two row pickers but never a one row picket.
I would live in the country before I would live in a city!!
Is the GDS2 license the one you purchase from GM for beaucoup bucks? I can't even do the "quickie" fix with GDS2 because it seems to be looking for a license.
This “GDS2” comes with the VCX nano.
@@utjay2008 When I hook my VCX Nano up to the laptop with GDS2 running it won't go any further to where the "Diagnostics" button is available. On mine the Diagnostics button is greyed-out with "No valid lease found" error.
@@8lazingSaddles yeah that sounds about right. It’s such a PITA to get set up. I’ve been saying I’ll do a video on setting up a VCX nano but I just never seem to get around to it. There’s some resources around the intewebs but you gotta be patient. Sorry I can’t help more.
@@utjay2008 This video (th-cam.com/video/2A2cehoaXe4/w-d-xo.html) and google doc listed in the description helped me set up the $40 PSP2 license and now I'll prob try the quickie fix and wait and see if it comes back. I've got 2 years to do the programming. It's great to see all the instructions in a line-by-line description.
@@utjay2008 So does it like come with the GDS2 software to download and with a license or?
Awesome video, followed your directions and cleared my codes tonight. I had to call AC Delco customer service since Tech line did not install correctly for me. Now I have a service forward camera code but I think that might just need some cleaning.
Thanks for the video which I'll be referencing while starting the reprogramming journey on my HPCM2 today. Just curious how long this fix lasted until you had to do the full reprogramming. I did find a pretty comprehensive video (without sound) that covers all the pieces and how to install them on Windows 10, if anyone is interested. I set up VMWare Workstation Pro (free) plus Windows 10 (to assure everything is isolated from my system) and yes there are a lot of perceived threats via Windows Defender, rather real or imagined which I chose not to leave to chance.
I had this fix last about the same amount of time as the “real” fix did. I got a 2014 and haven’t had the problem in over a year with that one. 🤷♂️
That Horn!!! Needs To See A Horn Doctor!!! It Sounds, SICK 😫!!!!!!
I’ll get my Time Machine out and let them know.
Thx so much!
Great video. Kinda in in my area Sounds like a good crew having fun doing there job like you could back in the day. Road trains out of Willard many times.
no clunk... i have a rattle noise from my 2017, its inside the passenger compartment, and i hear it at highway speeds above 55 mph. dealer said its the gear box, but thats on the other side of firewall the noise is inside, so dont see how it can be gearbox which thay want $3300 to fix.
Adjust the wheel position height and distance from the dash. I have had mine in some weird positions before and it caused noise.
@@rtz549 Your response might have come in handy about 2 months back, I sold the car. thanks though !
What if you just set the hitch in a bucket of it
I tried this fix and others for service high voltage system and none worked. I had to go to the the dealer for them to reprogram two different modules and the codes have been off for over 6 months.
This isn’t a “fix” for the code. I have 2 other videos on how to clear the codes. This is just an explanation on where the sensor is, how to switch it, and what the part numbers are.
@@smitastic7030 watch my other videos. I’ve cleared HPCM2 codes as well as flashed the module itself with fresh software. Don’t need to be the dealer. GM actually makes it very easy.
It's easier to just go to the dealer and have them reprogram, and then the codes will stay off or they can fix it again for free.
@@smitastic7030 I hate dealerships, going to them, paying them, and they usually screw it up anyways.
Thank you for posting this video, it made changing the sensor out much less challenging! Just seeing the holding clip helps a lot. A side note unhook the 12 volt battery before changing the sensor, or you get a warning propulsion system operating at reduced output, and the gas motor runs all the time. Easy fix though, I just unhooked the battery for a minute and everything is working again! $21 for the sensor at my Chevy dealer. GM#22922224

Not sure about the river subdivision, but yes, this is from Newark to Columbus.
I'll check those bolts on my Bolt...thanks for the tip
fantastic content shitty camera work I now have vertigo!!!
Thanks! I also want to pull out the 2nd row for a road trip with the dogs. Looks like this is a job for the garage as I am female and there is no way I can lift a 100 lb seat.
You got it! Putting it back in might be a bear. By taking it out isn’t too bad once I learned to “roll” it out the back.
@@utjay2008 Thanks! I won't put the second row back, the vehicle is for me and my dogs and that second row is not dog friendly (but the third row is perfect for them).
I use a drill and wire brush and clean the metal as best I can to be as clean as possible and wash it with Purple or spray nine and blow it dry and clean then I spray on the Ospho and let it set for 24 hours like the directions say to do and if you have some white spots in places just hand wire brush it off and prime it and after drying spray on 2 or three coats of the paint you prefer to use an let it cure for a day or two and you’re ready to go!!!
Can I use Primer in Aerosol cans ? It says use only oil based primer and paint on the Osphro bottle ?
@@hajileserpud9539 Rustoleum makes spray paints and a lot of them are oil based paints and primers!
Rustoleum paints are mostly oil based paints and they make spray cans of primer that works well with their paints!
@@rogeradkins1785 thanks for the quick reply 🙏😌... Tmrw I will be painting over Osphro I applied into the underside of my car.
Thanks for the info.
I replace the sensor only and the engine light came back on same code
I had "Service High Voltage Charging System" on my 2013 Chevy Volt a few days ago. I noticed that the car did not charge when I plug-in. I cleared up the code using regular obd2 scanner but the code came up again when I started the car. So I cleared up the code again, but this time I did not restart the car, instead I plugged-in the car right the way. It worked. The charge light indicator was on and I let it charged. I started the car after an hour of charging and the code was no longer shown on the screen.
Thank you for mentioning this. I might be having to try this in the next day or so.
Update: after topping up the 50/50 Dexcool mixture (it was a bit below the coolant tank seam after many years of evaporation), I used my "get it done" OBD II scanner (Ancel AD410 from Amazon) to clear the diagnostic code while the Volt was running. The code cleared immediately, as did the dash message about the High Voltage system. I turned off the ignition and plugged in my Level 2 charger. The Volt is back to its normal charging self. Back in business!
Mine has to be reset every day.
Chevrolet dealer wanted $1100 to replace the entire reservoir. I replaced the $20 sensor and saved a bunch of money. Thank you for making this video.
Great to hear!
