My problems with MCU Ultron: 1. Ultron being nerfed. In the comics, Ultron is a accruing villain that fights the Avengers multiple times. He could’ve had potential to be the next big bad for the avengers to face after Thanos. But no. Ultron is done in one film. 2. Ultron should’ve been created by Ant-Man and not Iron Man. And by Ant-Man, I mean Hank Pym. Since in the comics, Hank was the one to create Ultron and was an founding avenger. It was an bad move to basically skip over Hank and go straight to Scott.

They’re are many problems with the Age of Ultron Movie (mostly because Ultron should’ve been an avengers level villain and he should’ve been a threat that was up there with the likes of Thanos and Dr. Doom) but I will say Ultron being created by Stark instead of Hank Pym was one of the biggest mistakes in the MCU. (Long Writing Incoming) To those in the comment section who have not read the comics, In the comics, Hank and Jan were founding avengers before Hawkeye and Black Widow. They were also much younger and were the main Ant-Man and The wasp before Scott Lang showed up. Pym is the perfect character for Ultron. He’s is not as popular as the rest of the avengers, It would make him stand out and it would add on the tragedy of Ant-Man and The Wasp. Because in the comics, Hank suffered consequences. Consequences that movie didn’t deliver. Stark didn’t really suffered consequences. The only thing we got was Thor choking Iron Man for a second, then he let him go and then they just continued what they were doing. As for Hank, He did suffered consequences. Hank works more on his scientific work than his hero work. Which makes already differ from other heroes. So all of his hard-work, time and effort into creating Ultron only for his own creation to betray him. Hank realized that he created one of the avengers worst enemies. And an enemy that doesn’t go away. Since Ultron does come back time and time again. (Considering Ultron is a machine and if you saw the terminator movies, you would know how much problems robots are) What’s worst, Ultron is modeled after Pym’s brain so all of Ultron’s evil actions are from Hank’s atrocious thoughts. This revelation made Hank spiraled into madness. Filled with guilt and depression. To even almost committing suicide. Him creating Ultron also made him lose his marriage with Jan, got him kicked out of the avengers and cost his own lab to be destroyed. He gained an split personality disorder and schizophrenia. Which also changed his personality and he then became the villain Yellowjacket. Which turned his relationship with the Janet into an abusive relationship. It would be interesting to see and sad to see an character like Hank change from an smart, good mannered, well-respected man into a hated, villainous, borderline madman. But then later, Hank would get his redemption arc and become hero again. Being the mastermind of the Avengers. As the science guy. Something that Hank loved. Hank Pym is an amazing character with such great depth and character development. That’s why Not having an younger version of Hank Pym being an founding avenger who created Ultron to later become a villain was the biggest mistakes in the MCU. Iron man was already an interesting character in his first film and he is supposed to be the beloved star of the MCU. Having him create Ultron is a blunder. And Tony pretty much got away with it. Tony doesn’t need to create to Ultron when you think about it. (Yes I know about the whole Sokovia accords in Civil War but there were other events that had already happen so the sokovia accords were gonna happen regardless.) You can’t just take away something so big from one character and then stamp it on entirely different character and expect the same amount of depth just like the comics. MCU writers could’ve just replaced Ultron with any other villain (like Modok for example) and nothing would change. MCU Ultron is a forgettable villain. The age of Ultron movie was there to sell merchandise and was a money cash grab. It had potential to become an avengers iconic movie with epic storytelling. Instead we get a mid to low tier avengers film. Avengers: Age Of Ultron movie was more like Avengers: Weekend with Ultron. We also missed an opportunity in introducing the Janet Van Dyne. Janet was the heart of the avengers. Who would give them hope and optimism whenever they were at they’re lowest. She’s an bubbly and fun loving character. Which also make her differ from other female characters. Not to mention, she could use her shapeshifting in many ways. She’s not the strongest avenger but she would be impossible to hit and impossible to see coming when she’s in her wasp form. Ant-Man and The Wasp could’ve been the first superhero couple on the avengers but then later would end in a tragedy. Sadly, we don’t get that in the movies. The MCU decided to made Hank and Janet into two old people and pretty much send them into the background. If that was the case, the writers could’ve just not make them exist in the MCU at all in the first place. There’s nothing wrong with Scott and Hope. They’re both good characters and Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly did a great job portraying the characters. But it was not they’re time yet. And yes, I know that Ant-Man and the Wasp in the comics were obscure characters at first but they would later change into more serious and interesting characters down the line. Also, you could say the same thing with Iron Man and The Guardians of the Galaxy. Iron man was a C list character and The Guardians were barely D List characters. Now they are one of most popular characters of all time in fiction. Yes, people liked the Ant-Man movie with Scott lang but they didn’t LOVED ant-man. People aren’t talking about it 24/7 and rewatching over and over again saying it’s the greatest MCU movie of all time. I get it that Hank Pym was not established yet in phase 1 but they could included him and Jan in phase 2 with the ant-man movie as a prequel and tie that up with the Age Of Ultron movie. Or they could’ve put the Ant-Man movie in Phase 1 with Hank and Jan. Have hank building an secret project. Have Ultron be build up in a entire phase and then Ultron be the big bad that needs to be stopped. Either phase 2 or phase 3. Save Thanos to be the villain for another time. Introducing Ultron out of no where was the biggest mistakes that writers did. Which why Phase 2 was a letdown. Plus I did hear Edgar Wright was supposed to direct the Ant-Man movie early but they’re was some beef between Mr. wright and Kevin Feige. So Edgar Wright left and The MCU producers decided to take his idea an put it in they’re version of MCU ant-man. We could only mourn what could’ve been.

I think the mcu really f$&ked up with how they handled ultron, with introducing him too early and removing him from the story just as quickly, as well as attaching him to Tony stark the way they make everything Tony stark related in the MCU. I think he should've stayed a Pym creation and that they shouldn't have nerfed him so hard in favor of barreling ahead towards thanos with very few other main villains. As a result of getting rid of basically one of the last few potential big picture villains, now that thanos is gone there's nothing that really feels unifying that would bring the avengers together besides the skrulls, who are a recent setup with a fraction of the oomph that thanos did over like, a decade. ITS MAKING ME WATCH..." thats what playing sly 4 felt like as a mega fan of the og trilogy. we were quagmire. i appreciate this video very much btw. its not the hottest take in the world, but this game felt like such a punch to the groin that its almost theraputic to be reminded im not alone in seeing it that way lol

Coming back to this video, I've gotta say that Goku's voice has really grown on me, fully understanding how he's supposed to be viewed as a character vs. the Western view. Sean does a better yell, and growl than Masako, but Masako really is Goku. Her voice captures his innocence, and really makes him sound like a young boy. The way he's supposed to sound. Now it feels weird hearing Sean, not because he's bad or anything, he's great! But, his voice sounds too grown, and not playful enough to play Goku, If anything, I think Tfs Goku's voice strikes a good in between the two, and how adult Goku should've sounded when he was first dubbed. I understand your criticisms, in no world would I expect Goku to sound like this either, but for who he is, it does fit. I think of it as an artistic decision to keep his voice that way.

I don't think gabes' voice acting is bad enough to list it as a complaint about the entire game. actually I don't think it was bad at all. sure it wasn't perfect, but there's a lot worse out there

I just hate his goggles. The MCU already made a goofy bird suit character look cool with their version of culture from Spider-Man homecoming. If they would just give falcon a mask instead of goggles then he’d look fine.

tbh, the heavy hate on the game is really biased. i have played sly since it released and enjoyed every game to its max. Sly 4 is like Dragonball GT, it gets hated because fans wanted more of the same thing. Though if you watch GT by itself, its an amazing addition to Dragonball. It is the same with Sly 4, the game is absolutely amazing and incredibly fun to play if you dont act like a whiny, negative, picky-eating child. You all are the same reason we will never get a 5th installation.

Prefer what you prefer. I'd take Goku's Japanese voice any day over that subpar English dub, with dialog thrown into every scene, not allowing for tension or for any scene to breathe. Which is likely because they're afraid that the western audience has the attention span of a 2 year old. I've watched all of DB front and back, both dubbed English (Ocean and Funi) and subbed. There is no comparison. Sub since 92 baby!

I’m recently playing the Sly trilogy, after they announced the PS5 version of Sly 1, so I can 100% them. And yeah the swamp level was kinda scary, but imo Clockwork was the most scary part of the 1st game, especially his 2D illustrations and the title card for ep 5. And his final boss music sounds very foreboding.

ultron is still marketable as the type of guy whos just angry all the time and spouts the words pathetic, insects, and fool, and the character may not act funny but his concept and how he takes himself so serious is kinda funny but still very threatening, idk why they made him jokey

I think the main problem with Grievous in TCW is that he was simply overused, I get they want the heroes to win, but then don't use him over and over just to keep getting beaten, I mean that's why the tactical droids exist, to be generic enemy commanders that get beaten over and over, so why not have some of his appearances be taken by tactical droids like in dual of the droids, the malevolence arc, or the test of strength arc, just have Grievous replaced by different tactical droids, yeah it means he appears less but it certainly makes him look like less of a joke (especially in the test of strength arc he couldn't even beat a padawan and a group of Jedi initiates that is pathetic)

Honestly I think the clone wars does great with fleshing out villains (besides Grievous’s backstory his legend’s one was perfect and shouldn’t have been changed) however has a terrible attempt at making them win. Look at maul, he comes back, looks cool, but how many Jedi does he kill? Very few. He’s a minor threat as Obi Wan can easily defeat him. As well as his brother getting utterly cooked by Palpatine, however this is reasonable. Dooku? Very little Jedi killed however I will admit from my knowledge he does pretty good in his duels. Separatist army? They NEVER win a battle if the main characters are involved, always being pushed back with thousands of droids able to be destroyed by a Jedi, they’re so weak it’s disgusting. Okay I didn’t establish my point too well and didn’t back it up well, but come on the villains are always on the backfoot.
