@@sherryn39455 . After you make it it’s strained very well in a jar and placed in a dark cabinet. I take one teaspoon every three to four hours as soon as I start feeling like I have a cold or something more coming on . Just like you would with name brand medicine. I also make a very powerful elderberry syrup and I take a shot glass of it morning and night as well with it . I also give it to my husband the same way . Hope that helps

After the medicinal has been pulled in a dark cabinet for several weeks I went 8 weeks since this is a hard pull to get all the goodness out of them . Then you strain it good place in a clean jar and store in a dark cabinet ; and yes you can take a teaspoon every three to four hours or at first sign of symptoms.

I did mine for eight weeks to pull all the goodness out of it .

@@s.m.painter8808 you can vodka is just typically used since it’s taste is more neutral pairs well with pulling . Vodka the proof consistency alcohol to water ratio is great with herbs not to mention Vodka is less expensive 😊

Its best to use a clear alcohol. A dark liquor has already been tinctured with a charred tree of some sort. Its hard to know if there would be any interaction or not. :/

They have been at both my business and home for over a month and we have had two storms no issues . That is helpful maybe something in the bottom is a great idea like rocks so it would not cost anything extra to make . Also this was a helpful suggestion from me . I’m not commission based or a pro . I am so sorry to hear that about your father . I am also an BSRN I would always recommend a health care physician to be informed of any herbal treatment recommended .Herbalist can not diagnose unless they have a doctrine license such as a naturopathic doctor . I am also sorry about the blood sample he gave her . Someone that’s an herbalist has not had the medical education, training or experience to read a blood panel or levels they should however be educated on what herbs do what and what interacts with other herbs s and medications. Herbalist can only help recommended , educate , and inform about natural herbs etc.. that are known to help with certain symptoms or issues legally not tell someone about allergies that is done with a skin test not blood sample . My goodness this is upsetting that someone did that. Again I am so sorry ..
