We really enjoyed teamLab Planets because it offered a unique experience. Despite the pouring rain when we arrived, it's an attraction not to be missed when visiting Tokyo.
At teamLab Planets, you experience an extraordinary journey through a museum where you walk through water and a garden where you become intertwined with the beauty of the flowers. This awe-inspiring experience encompasses 4 large-scale artwork spaces and 2 enchanting gardens, all brought to life by the innovative art collective teamLab.
A trip to Tokyo is not complete if you don’t go to Akihabara, a buzzing shopping hub famous for its wide range of electronics retailers and specialty stores for manga, anime, and video games.

We added Disney Resort to our itinerary because we wanted to experience DisneySea, which is only in Japan. We were looking forward to experiencing the new Frozen and Tangled attractions. One important thing to remember is to reserve the attractions you want to experience, as the lines can get very long, and you may need to pay extra for fast-lane access.
Don't forget to check out the indoor shows to escape the scorching heat. They were really good shows and I’m sure you will enjoy as much as we did!
The majority of the attractions at this location are unique, except for a few rides like Pirates of the Caribbean, which was closed when we visited, and the Indiana Jones ride. My husband and daughter enjoyed the 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' ride, which speeds up towards the middle and has a drop from the top of the volcano at the end. I didn't go on it because I'm not into thrill rides. Yes, I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to these rides and heights!
Little Mermaid castle has its own enclosed area specifically designed for younger kids, with a variety of rides, shows, shops, and cafes.
Make sure you try “Journey to the Center of the Earth” a thrill ride and ends with a drop from the top of the volcano.
Disneyland Tokyo offers a unique experience compared to the one in Anaheim, in a positive way. The park has friendly and upbeat staff, delicious food options, and very clean, making the visit truly memorable.
A visit to Disneyland is not complete without experiencing the "It's a Small World" ride.
Most of the rides in Anaheim is pretty much the same, except for the Baymax and the Beauty and the Beast ride, which I totally loved. We shelled out extra for priority access since the line was over 2 hours long! But it was totally worth it.
Tokyo Disney Resort was a far more enjoyable experience compared to Anaheim. We're definitely going back to try the attractions we missed.
