Well... as much as I LOVE a card like prison. We don't want that gameplay loop all the time. We want Warning and Prison living together in harmony. It takes foresight to play correctly when cards/pushes are a bit more powerful, and with cards like Warning and Maxx C in the format. It's just more exciting and more difficult to play.

Tengu is a vastly superior format to Edison, y'all really need to understand the terms you're using before posting lmao

Tenpai is so funny. It's literally like the last banlist didn't matter. The deck theoretically should be easier to beat, but it somehow got harder. And you would think in a "slower format" where everyone is expecting to get turn skipped at least once, even snake eyes is forced into maining floodgates, would be hurtful for Tenpai.

Hey I like the sauce, as for the gryphon list currently, I personally cut yama from the extra, and end on sp level 11 to play around breakers best I can with the backrow set up. I use the sp to banish gryphon and then summon off berf when I want to, and in the side I decide my win con to be diabellze, which cna be dumped off berf and banished off sp, and choose to end with sp and knightmare gryphon colinked on the board, then on the opp turn I summon the diabelle now I

I didn't realize Scythe was still legal. Is that an OCG thing or a simplified Chinese OCG thing? Memento is very scary. Someone at my locals has been destroying everyone with it. It's been sneaking up on the format.

I haven't tried it, but Cursed Seal should also be brutal vs Dragon Turbo, at least if you go first, no? Turning off rejuvenation for the rest of the match seems like an auto-win

Hi, translator here: Basically to explain this card. I will also provide the original Japanese text as the last part of my comment: Basically what the card says is that if you control no cards, you can discard this card as a quick effect and both effects will be applied. The first effects says that if a monster(s) us special summoned from the opponents DECK or Extra Deck (no where else) that you will draw 1 card. So it doesn't work with cards special summoned from the GY, hand or that are banished. Next, the effects states that if your hand size is 6+ cards, you will shuffle RANDOM cards from your hand into your Deck equal to the number of cards your opponent controls during End Phase. It's nowhere near Maxx "C" level of good but it is still no doubt, a staple hand trap or at minimum a mandatory side board card. What I'm getting from this is that Chinese players hate Maxx C as much as we do.

I kinda hate how this channel becomes the goto for TCG player to validate their view. So many comments on Reddit refer to this channel, while disregarding other OCG player comment.

They made all the Pot Cards to substitute Greed, so it would not be too far off if they did the same with Maxx C

I always love the argument of my opponent has a full board then they drop that maxx c on me. That also applies to any other hand trap and floodgate. But because my opponent can plus off me trying to fight their board is where most draw the line. I'm always in favor of maxx c hanging around because going 2nd is already hard enough and I want as many answers as possible. It also possible they have the same answers, but that's yugioh and I don't cry over getting maxx c.

I can see TCG players making another "OCG will finally ban Maxx C" video/comments after this and proceed to talk s### about OCG even more

Wouldn't Beatrice be fixed by the following erratum? Instead of you not being able to use her effect on the turn she's summoned _if_ you summoned her by overlaying over Dante, you cannot use her effect on the turn she's summoned _unless_ you overlayed her over Dante.

I think at minimum C is fine for another year, I don't think these cards are being made to ban Maxx "C" but to have it be ready to be an option for them if they decide to ban it. For now the Triple Tri decks are way too new and I imagine they expect hose to have a long shelf life. the second they ban a card in one of those they kill it's ability to be sold and C would make all three decks defunct products more or less.
