Anyone care to explain to me how the protagonist is moving in an identical fashion in both views? Everything is identical; the movement, the reloading of the weapon, where the enemies are, and so on. If you were to run through this section of the game twice (once on each console) there is no way that you could be in the same place, doing exactly the same thing, at precisely the same time. So what am I missing? Is this fake?

The whole point of Minecraft is that it's a sandbox where you can make your own rules and the whole voxel look is intentionally simple to let your imagination go wild. I really do not care if the Switch version has less bells and whistles. Its a Minecraft that I can play when and wherever I want and aside from some hiccups, it's played just fine for me, and that's enough for me.
