Hey hey! I just checked and it looks like it can indeed fit 45mm tires!

@ awesome thanks dude. Did you try it on your bike or just look it up online? Seems like there is conflicting info online

@@ygoeb13 apologies! That is just on the wheel*. Because of the fork and backend sizing, the biggest tire it can fit is 42mm. Checked with Canyon for ya!

Hey man! So far I'm really digging around the East Nashville area in/around Shelby Park! there is all sorts of fun paths and then a couple little dirt paths that have been fun exploring. Been wanting to get down to Leipers fork though! See ya out there ⚡️

Thats so awesome to hear! My goal is to do a century ride... was it a lot or prep for you?

@@jasonwlorenz A friend of mine who rides a century at least twice a month convinced me last minute to join him on a fully supported (local bike club) century, so my planning was just my normal every other day commuting and weekend rides. I was fine 80 miles in, but the last 25 or so were pretty rough as the temps were high and it was riding into a stiff wind. I highly recommend giving it a try, especially if you can find a supported event. Made it easy to not have to carry food and water and tools.

I am 5'10" as well and got a small! From everything I've found out, Canyon sizing is a bit different from much of the rest of the industry! So, I think you'll bee just fine! Enjoy the heck out of it! I am a few weeks in and I'm in love with it 🤠

​@@jasonwlorenz LOVE this bike! Initial impressions are that it is sturdy, light, fast and stable. As fast as a road bike on tarmac, and confident as a mountain bike off road. The bike just exudes confidence in it's look and riding style. Had to get my my brakes changed to the UK configuration and only just updated the sram firmware, but just as obsessed as you. You are a lucky man with those extra pedals ha - hope to see some riding vids of you with your bike in the future!

I am 5'10" and went with a size Small! Canyon sizing seems to be a bit different than the rest of the brands I looked into, but feels good so far!

@@jasonwlorenz Oh I just asked in a comment, but I am the same size as you and also ordered size small. Was hesitant bc I'm almost always size medium in everything when it comes to general sizing

I would say whatever style makes more sense for you! In my opinion, a good trail bike would be a better option since we do have some good climbing, some fun down-hilly runs, and (if you work your way up to it) even some fun jump lines! Hope to see you out on the trails!

Depends on what you’re wanting to do bro. I’ve got an Orbea (XC) and it’s a monster when I’m climbing, but I ride for a workout and don’t do any crazy trails. You should go by or call one of the Ride615 bike shops. They’ll be helpful for you figuring out what works best. Happy to hear you’re looking to get back into it!!!

Honestly not too sure! We got there right after it opened and stayed until around 5 according to my phones time stamps 🤠 Either way, we had fun and spent the day how we wanted. I only wish I got more clips there...
