Thanks for the video.!! You saved me $500 buck.🤣
Hehe Pahrump. Behave yourself.
Great video!! I may have to make the trip from Tucson and see it for myself. Subscribed for more content like this!
There over 5000 feet of workings there
That place was really impressive. It was a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be and way off of the beaten track
Nice Spot. Looking forward to exploring up there on my dirtbike soon. December 25th 2024 @ 0:10 ?
Did you notice an increase in power or just an increase in sound?
After I put the exhaust on and remove the snorkel in the air box it feels like I gained a tiny bit of torque. The throttle response is definitely better
single cylinder sounds like a lownmower, or a loud lawnmower
😂 You don't need to undo The axle touchiner
Wat brand saddle and top box u got?
Happy-trail.com in Boise, Idaho. They're pretty legit, weatherproof, and the tig welding looks really nice on the corners. The top box is their double helmet box. No complaints on storage!
Classic mate!! Love smoking the durrie while you're doing the tyre change. Good video too, cheers
There was actually 5 Military Wagon Roads built in Oregon. All but 1 was inevitably deemed a scam, and only the Central Oregon one you are referring to in this video was forced to auction it's land off by the courts. There weren't many roads in Oregon back then.. Hence the need for the military roads. The US army had a hard time protecting citizens from the natives. The Rogue River Indian Wars are a great example. The wagon roads were supposed to incentivize commerce in the region, but historically, most of Oregon's land was given away just for showing up. The original Oregon Trail pioneers were promised 320 acres per adult and 160 acres per kid if they arrived in Oregon... so naturally, most woman showed up pregnant. Then the homestead act of 1862 gave away more land, that was 160 acres per person. I think 10% of the entire US acreage was granted under the Homestead Act.
My favorite forest. President Hoover had a cabin down the road from there.
Hello from Pahrump Nv.
I just got back to Pahrump! It's hard to stay away from this beautiful town😁
Hey if you're headed back to Pahrump, let's do some riding. We spoke briefly outside the Horizon Market convenience store on the 160 a few months back. You were gassing up. I have a 2022 KLR650 too. I live on a half acre lot on Blosser Ranch Rd. if you need to park your RV for a few days. I know of some trails suitable for KLR riding off Bell Vista Rd. in Stewart Valley and out towards Ash Meadows.
Yeah for sure, I'm in Pahrump now for the next week or so. Shoot me a text at 8155669111, I'm up for riding all the time!
I’m definitely interested in tubeless, at least on the rear. Thanks for the vid!
No Harley’s in ca are under 85dbs. They’re all loud as hell. Btw sounds great. I’m putting one on my gen2. 😊
Right on!
Ya too funny
Ok😊
It sounds quiet. Is it your Mike?
Could be my microphone or the volume control on your tv. I don't think it could get any louder than it is
I'm just about to change my tires on my KLR 650 for the first time. This is going to do me a lot of good, thank you.
No problemo!
Really great video! One of the best ones out there I've seen. Simple, and straight to the point with some good tips and tricks!
Thanks man I appreciate it! Keep havin a great day!
I wish it was only 110° ! Today in Vegas (Pahrump area). They are predicting 118° for 3 of the next 4 days!
It's a scorcher for sure. I'll be back in Pahrump next week to enjoy the heat!
Good video! To the point and informative made enjoyable to watch. My only question is what about balancing? Thanks
A lot of guys in these klr forums say they don't balance theirs either. In the past 3 tire changes, I didn't balance mine and even at 80 miles an hour, I can't feel any problems. I do have a factory crimp on weight, on my spokes, but I think that's just to balance the rim itself? Hope that kinda helps! Thanks for the positive vibes! Keep havin a great day!
I’ll be attempting to install a pair of D606’s this coming week, it’ll be my first time trying to tackle a tire install 😁
I'm in Reno, June 2024 heading to Yerington then south. If you go to Pine Grove mines, watch out for camp bears...
Thanks for the heads up I'll have to check it out next time for sure! Love ridin to places like that. I'm in Winnemucca working on the next video!
10,000 miles with the original doohickey? Guess it really is a myth
So far I'm going on 12,0000 miles and haven't changed it out yet!
Glad to hear. I just hit 5k on mine and throwing some new shoes on Friday thanks for the vid
You do not need to unbolt the caliper, it slides off in one piece. The time saver of the tube stem is 100% right on. That saves a lot of time and knuckle-ache. Great video.
I love the thump!
Thanks man it's frickin loud! braap braap
Have had my 23 KLR for a year and have been going back and forth whether or not I needed an exhaust or not.....well....I decided to order last night lol I'm really hoping it's worth it
Yo! Great work..Thank you for featuring my art! One Love!
Do you have any videos panning for gold?
I'll be making some videos about that in the future! I've been doing a lot of metal detecting in southern Arizona lately!
Awesome setup. What model toy hauler is that? I’m looking for a similar setup. I like to boondock and ride my DR out exploring. Enjoying the content man so keep it going!
Thanks man! It's a Jayco Octane 222 and so far so good! I did a lot of research and went to alot of RV expos, it's kind of a big decision because every one of them is slightly different. I'm glad you enjoyed the content and thanks for the comment!! Keep havin' a great day!
Adventure motorcycle riding prospector......interesting. GPS phone is a smart move. That idea has come up with older individuals that ride alone on multiple sites. ( Scooter in the sticks ) ( fellow Royal Enfield enthusiasts) 63 and Retired myself. Have you had the thrill off running into a foal with its momma out there. Horse or burro? What a treat!
I have seen quite a few wild horses and burros on the Mount Charleston side of 160 most of the time, theres usually a 50\50 chance to see them on Wheeler Pass and on the north end of town also. 🫏🐴
Perfect ride. Thanks for the information. I will check out this area. I ride Red Rock Canyon area every day. How far is this ride off of 160? Up and down.
Thanks Edward! Wheeler Pass comes down to highway 160 twice. You can get to it by the race track and then a little further downtown near Autozone!
