Thanks Rob. On a slightly different topic, how could we use a badge as a prerequisite for a module? We have several Canvas courses with introductory lab safety modules. We'd like any of these to satisfy the prerequisite for more advanced modules. For example, a student in engineering who completes the lab safety module in their department's intro course will be able to use labs in a different department and take additional training modules in their courses. I haven't found a way to satisfy prerequisites in my course modules using module completion from a different course, I was hoping to use badges for this. Students completing the intro module in any one of several departments would receive a badge; this badge would then be used as a prerequisite for more advanced modules in all other departments.

Dear Rob Power, When I play the embedded video, it stil shows a little youtube interface that, if clicked, sends me to youtube page. In this way students exit from Moodle, and (the worst) tehy can copy/paste the link to other destinations.... How can I deny students exit from Moodle learning interface? Thank you in advance
