*Rainbow Mountain Expedition*
Located at the breathtaking height of almost 12,000 feet, Rainbow Mountain sits atop the picturesque Makuli Valley in Qarqolti. Our expedition to explore this natural wonder was fraught with challenges, as we had limited knowledge of the location and had heard tales of the treacherous trek.
*Day 1: Departure from Darkot*
We departed from Darkot at 5:00 pm, bound for Qorqolti Valley. After a 2-hour bike ride, we arrived in Qorqulti and rested for the night.
*Day 2: Trek to Makuli Valley*
The next morning, we set off at 6:00 am on bike towards Makuli Valley. The rugged road made biking challenging, but we persevered. After 40 minutes, we reached Makuli and began the arduous ascent.
*The Final Push*
From Pasummm point, we trekked for 2 hours, overcoming steep inclines and rugged terrain. Finally, we reached the coveted destination - Rainbow Mountain. The breathtaking view took our breath away. The mountain's vibrant colors, resembling a rainbow, left us awestruck.
