this should have been the album to end all albums
I love everything Steve Lehman plays!
This band makes The Beatles sound like any other band at the time. This was before The White Album.
I came here to find out if the tape I have of this is playing correctly or if it's damaged, and it turns out the answer is yes.
3:46 - Hey, what’s your favourite TV show?
This would take of these days.
I'm so surprised by how underrated it is
Love how springy and baroque the second part of this is Reminds me of some of Wars of the Roses & Gnosis
How is called that style of singing/melody at the intro of All We Ever Wish? (You can also hear it in Thinking Plague's "The Aesthete" and The Mothers of Invention's "Oh No".)
I finally found it! It's called twelve-tone technique. :)
whoa
A perfect ending on a Perfect album!
morricone
i can't stand this sentimental nonsense
Name ONE thing you've accomplished in your pathetic existence.
Judee Sill style.
Thx for the upload :-)
japan were dolng this sort of thing in the 80s only better
The only reason I looked this up was for Keith Abrams drumming. Boy am I glad he joined Kayo Dot after this and made some really good music with Toby Driver.
He's not playing on this album lol
THANK YOU!!
Utter compositional bliss
I really love this cut!
I wish there were more bands like this!
Maudlin of the Well is better. <3
These guys are similar genre. soundcloud.com/sheikhs
They aren't really that similar
!!
Hmmm, sounds like The Doors back in the sixties/seventies
Min 3:21 its like 4-6?
omg those vocals are terrible
I like these kinds of vocals when I'm depressed.
12-tone at its best
Ralph Richter I stand by this statement 6 years later
Brings back a lot of great memories..
Amazing Song!
what a sound!
You should see the cover for Early As Seen In Pace.
sborro
bombombom tsch..... :)
but still sounds like Pink Floyd...lol
the first band to give me chills in years...
Yeah and at every "twist", it sounds just like Pink Floyd!
No words but these <3
Excellent song This has a similar sound to Frantic Bleep only more relaxing
exelent! :D
awesome cover art
this is the same album cover style as kayo dots first album and toby drivers solo album....why is that?
cause it's both released on the Tzadik label. Toby's solo work has this style too.
for the love of god stop comparing this band to Pink floyd. this is a very good band, but apart of some nice and clever twists to the sound they are an indie-rock band. Pink Floyd are gods, GODS do you understand me?? Nothing can compare and probably never will That being said, this band is very good, thanks for uploading!
All of a sudden it goes into Frank Zappa's -Andy- at 2:31, cool band!
haha I most definitely see it.
This tune is fantastic.
@ryanaaxxx Thanks, now all i can see is... damn you Trollking!
ok this cover is definitely a goatse reference...no?
so good. there should more people listen to this
jesus this songs. Thank you so much for the upload
