Who's still here in 2024?

This is one of those Toto songs that I have always thought was one of their best. The vocals are amazing. The production and arrangement are your typical Toto high quality affair. And Jeff's playing is just such a groove with power. This could have been and honestly should have been a hit song. But that is the story of Toto. They had a lot of great music, but it isn't recognized with the respect it deserves. Other than the dozen or so top 40 songs in their catalogue. Great job Rob.

Very cool! Actually i recorded on that mixing console last week. It was purchased by a great studio, Lydhagen (translated Soundgarden) here in Norway some years ago. It came with a huge list of legendary albums and artists who used it through the years.

Vocally it wasn’t my favorite version, also Savoy Brown’s arrangement was much cooler.

That's some great stamina with the 16th one handed play, love this tune and Jeff's playing my hands cramp up half way when playing along to this song, but one day i will get there! great job.

Jeff was just so versatile. He could play anything from Jazz or Prog to Pop or Hard Rock. That really made him a go-to session musician. I always say that it’s great if you can play one style and play it incrediblely well, that’s cool, but to make it in the music business and be successful as a drummer, you really have to learn different styles and be versatile, or you won’t get hired. Great job with the cover, Rob.
