We made this channel to share with everyone our 0 scale model trains and the layout that they run on. This is purely for the entertainment of other railfans and hobbyists. I am building this layout in my garage and it is a hobby of love. Thanks for watching!

Yes it is true. I have already cut and moved the layout. It is in a very sad state. However, it will live again. Thanks to all who have been watching and subscribing. Stay tuned for some short videos in the meantime.

Nice video Colby I especially love the night time video that was awesome, if you don’t mind me asking what size is your layout and what curve radius do you have on it.
I am happy I did the tedious task of wiring all those lights to get these really cool shots. I'm glad you appreciate it. The layout is 8 ft wide and 15 ft long with a 4x4 addition for the shed and industry area. I use mostly 072 with a few 0-81 curves.
Nice cars! Great price as well....
The price is what sold me.
Really nice passenger cars
Nice video, so glad to hear your back. Missed your southern pacific videos. HOWARD G
Hi Howard. I am happy to see the beautiful colors on the rails again.
Congratulations on your latest acquisitions! MTH make some beautiful passenger cars. 👍
Yes they do. I think these are their best yet.
thank you.
very nice
Thank you for showing the wiring options. I have several on my layout including a few double head signals, lower head is controlled by a separate sensor. What size screws did you use to hold them down? Have to be tiny, I assume a panhead wood screw
Hi. I looked at the screws and I think it is Atlas Track screws. They are small. Nails painted black would probably look better but I just put scenery over the heads.
Yaaaay, Welcome Back Mr. Priest! Congrats On The Move!
Thank you
As an SP fan and O gauger love the videos.
my brother in Southern Pacific!
Glad you’re back looking forward to seeing more videos.
I am looking forward to making them. Still too hot in Socal to spend much time in the garage. About 90 degrees in there.
Welcome back! Once again congrats on the new place and glad your layout is back where it belongs. Looking forward to future videos and the new Legacy SD45s as well. Looks like those will be arriving in the next month or so. I preordered SP 7400 (mainly because I like the cab roof-mounted bell). Anyways, I was surprised but glad to see a new video from you today that wasn't a short running clip. I knew that was a good thing lol
Thanks for always watching Stephen. I hope to have some running vids soon but I got to do the repairs first.
Nice update. Layout looks great.
Thank you.
I wish lionel didn't include a dome in that four pack. SP only had 3 dome cars that were rarely used Mostly because of cooling issues through the desert and they were full (¾)dome cars built at their shops. My dad has, I think all 8 of them Its a nice looking set.
Thanks for the info.
super helpful and detailed video for a newbie like me.
What’s the number of the kadee couplers
I use 805 or 806 depending on the car. Mostly 805
You know these one minute videos are killing me.
Its all I got at the moment. Sadly.
Miss you Mr Priest!!!!!
I remember that name. Good to hear from you. Hope all is well.
Very nice I'm a newer subscriber so can you do a video on your layout so I can see it please and thanx
I am still in the process of moving so I can't do new videos but I have plenty of older ones that show off the layout. Thanks for the sub.
@@PriestBrosLines thanx
One of my favorite locomotive's.thanks for sharing. Haven't seen videos in awhile, are you still in the moving mode? Thanks again Howard
Hey Howard. Still moving. Layout is cut still. I wont have new videos for a while. Thanks for watching
Are you still moving?
I'm in my new house now and am still in the process of moving everything and finding where everything will go. The layout is in the garage but is still cut up. It just isn't a priority right now. Moving is hard work. Thanks for watching.
@@PriestBrosLines moving is never easy. Looking forward to the new content
@@mslickstrains I''m looking forward to not spending every minute of "free time" moving boxes, putting up shelves or building furniture. 🤪 Going a little crazy
They bought one E8 and they didn't like it. You can tell most e8's from e9's by looking at the headlight if there is no mars light its an e9, most of the time.
Getting anxious
GREAT!!!
Beautiful train set, gotta love the GS4's
What a beautiful passenger set! Love the daylight!!👍🤩
What a beautiful Amtrak set! Fantastic review! 👍
I really enjoyed your review and run session of your Lionel Amtrak F40 and passenger cars. I just subbed to your channel. I don’t like the kinematic pilots myself. They stick out way too far and don’t like to go back into place on the straightaways. Great video! Frank
Everything you described is exactly my experience. They have led to derailment. Thanks for watching.
I want no part of a kinematic pilot. That would be a deal breaker for me. I hope Lionel doesn't make that a standard feature across the board.
They are doing it more and more. It looks nice but I have experienced operational problems which are big headaches.
How’d you make the beach?
Hello. I made a video on it call Providence Beach Park. Check it out. Thanks for watching
Never really seen a beach on a layout before it looks pretty awesome!!
Thank you. It was a challenge to do it
I love the close up shot. Nice looking GP30.
Thank you. cool little engine
I didn't see how you wire the track. Where you actually connect the wire to the track. That's what I was watching the video for based on the title of the video.
You are right. I should have added that. I bought rail joiners with wire soldered directly to them from Atlas. That is what my feeder wires are. If you are confident in soldering, you can make your own with some wire and loose rail joiners. It is a lot cheaper. Thanks for watching.
Colby, Your video was amazing. I just built my first layout and had many questions and worries about wiring. Your video explained everything including where to buy the components. Everything went smoothly. Thank You.
Excellent! So glad I could help. Happy modeling.
Can’t wait for the new house
Less than a month
pretty fun
Great view of your mainline ,
The GP30 is such a beauty. One of my favorite engines 💯. Got 4 in HO...
Nice layout and Great SP collection
Can't hate on the SP AC-12. I have the most recent Legacy release, 4294 (the one at CSRM) and is my favorite articulated. Seeing this video makes me want to run mine with my PFE train. I guess I know what I'm doing tomorrow... Also, is this an older video and just something you're putting out interimly while the layout moves?
Go run an AC. You won't be disappointed. This is a video that I made right before I broke up my layout. I made many short videos right before I did that and I am releasing them slowly. It will be a while until my layout lives in my new home and is operational so I did this to still have content.
Impressive locomotive
It might be my favorite
Nice video , loco's and cars .
How do you connect the drop wire to the track? It didn’t show that and I don’t know how please reply here I like to know.
the wire is soldered to the rail joiner. thanks for watching
Very nice loc! Like this type/model a lot 👍👍
Very nice! The Capitol Limited operates Chicago-Cleveland-Pittsburgh-Washington DC and intermediate points and used these type Heritage cars until the 1990s when Superliner equipment began protecting the Capitol Limited trains #29 and #30.
I bought one myself two weeks ago. Very pleased with the F40PH.. My first O gauge.. These are hard to get overhere in Europe.. New subscribe..
Europe huh. cool. which country?
@@PriestBrosLines The Netherlands 😉. They're more into HO...
@@PriestBrosLinesThe Netherlands, we are more into HO and N scale..
Great video - good information - really love the smooth body cars!
Glad you like them. I like how they have a mixture of both smooth and ribbed.
What do you use for ballast? It looks great.
I use Brennen's Better Ballast. I also add a little extra brown ballast. Glad you like it.
@@PriestBrosLinesThanks, just ordered a bag
How is the dialogue from the diner?
It is fun. Different seatings for dinner. Arrival and departure. Check out my previous videos for more in-depth looks and reviews.
Excellent run!
Glad you think so!
