It was one of the first Castlevania game i ever play. While it has teribble level design, the soundtrack is spectacula for it time. I remember afk the first level just to hear that SNES Bloodlines 😂

@@Fade4.musics Me too. My first Classicvania was this game and although I criticize it a lot, I find myself playing it a lot more than Super Castlevania (which is obviously superior). Mainly because of the soundtrack, I often only play the first stage precisely because of Bloodlines too my friend

I get that they want modern approach so they ditch it and went for a more dark gritty Castlevania. However, i think it would be nicer if they have an introduction like this. Rondo of Blood is special because is the only Classicvania with a protagonist intro and it is perfect. Overall that just my personal opinion. 😁

@@Fade4.musics Probably yes... But I missed it in DXC, the intro remastered in the realistic style of the standard opening with the PSP designs would have been amazing. At least this exclusivity gives an extra charm to the original Rondo, even after years, this game remains timeless my friend. Finally, great job with the remaster. Overture doesn't get as many remixes as Divine Bloodlines, which is a shame. If you're taking suggestions after finishing Rondo of blood, I'd love to hear your remix of "A Toccata into blood soaked Darkness", or rather, to put it simply, Dracula's theme from Curse of Darkness.

Well said friend. The bridge collapse and Shaft final battle really show they desperate to stop Richter marching forward to the throne room, but it wont matter cause the Belmont are here and Dracula is already prepare for him!

​@@Fade4.musics That's for sure. That's why I love this character, Richter's rise in Rondo/X Chronicles and his fall in SoTN make his story very remarkable and interesting in my opinion. One detail: Dracula X Chronicles has a remix of this theme. "Cavern of Dark Spawn" is the name. Unfortunately, some parts of the original theme have been removed and the "Vampire Killer" part is the most prevalent in the song. A solid remix though.

Would be great theme as a underwater area. But yeah Death boss fight was fun, i only using whip in this fight, make it more intense! 😁

I use the Opus 13 Midi from Dracula X as base structure so it might sound a little like the SNES version. :D

And yeah, for the stage is kinda lame and not well polish like other. But atleast we got a banger lol.

@@Fade4.musics Indeed. Unfortunately he was cut for eternity, it seems, and he wasn't even in the remake. At least the hydra serves as a substitute in stage 5', even though it's a generic boss.

@@Fade4.musics Shaft is one of the coolest villains in the series. His story is good and the battle in which he summons the bosses from the first game is very memorable. I hope Netflix doesn't destroy him in the animation more than the other characters... (watching Nocturne, everything indicates that the priest will become him at some point)
