I thought the charts were from Robert Bryce (not Robert Stack -- an actor who hosted the Unsolved Mysteries TV show). Regardless, they should open the eyes of anyone who believes the headlines about the world's purported shift to "renewable" energy.

What a load of bullocks. Natural gas is just as bad, or even worse than coal when you factor in the methane escaping during extraction and transport. Oil and gas industry have (as always) have been lying. You could argue that they could fix this by repairing leaks. Sadly, this vile lot is run by greedy psychopaths, so they won't.

One other possible reason for the LNG approval ban: Despite Biden's campaign promises to "end fossil fuels," the US has been breaking world hydrocarbon production records. To draw attention away from this fact, Biden needed to do ~something~ to prove that "fighting" climate change is important to him -- no matter how stupid, myopic or misguided it may be.

Going by the title of the video... Yes, EVs are a thing of the past, as are windmills. They went away for good reason. But yet, here we are... Again.

Charging from home is massively more convenient than going to a gas station. Most people will not exceed the range of the car more than 3 or 4 trips per year or less than 5% of their daily travel. Therefore the majority of the time is far more convenient and substantially cheaper. But,,, if you can't charge from home I think EVs would be a pass for now.

I'm too conservative to jump in to new technology. Thank you those of you willing to jump, for testing the waters for us. I'm still not ready, but might consider a hybrid if the price is right.

Carbon capture is a myth. Coal ,gas and nuclear power are more expensive compared to solar, wind and pumped hydro energy storage. EV's will continue to gain market share for city driving. China eventually will decrease its dependancy on Coal as it run out of suitable cheap coal and using EV's makes the air quality in large cities much better.

EVs sakes are not flat! That is simply false. My wife druves a Model Y, and her vehicle is amazing and saves us a lot of money. It takes 20 minutes to charge when we take trips. We almost always charge at home once a week. Charging is actually much simpler than filling up my ICE truck. I will be purchasing an EV truck in the next 5 years when my 2011 hits 200k miles.
